I have been coming here for years for lunch, dinner, happy hour, business meeting lunches and never have I been disappointed. One staple that has not changed is their chop chop salad, still the best. Lamb shanks constantly perfect. Their hamburgers and frites never disappoint so good! Cocktails, deserts and free covered parking for 2-3 hrs depending upon the time... More

Nice restaurant very spacious. Service slow and not suited to a big party. Food unispiring and does not match hype. Has stags leap wine which is excellent.

Overlooking (or underlooking as the case may be) the Bay Bridge. Nice food, good service, enjoyable meal.

We went here for a birthday dinner. Nice dinner, service was good, not overly annoying. The view of the bay bridge was bonus, it looks great with its evening light show. Definitely order the donuts for dessert. Yum

Perfect surroundings, view and decor. Enjoyed the food and a good wine selection. Not sure why but our orders kept getting mixed up on our table of 12. Happy helpful staff but maybe they need a little more training.

Palomino continues to deliver consistent excellent service and very good food at reasonable prices. Albert was our very friendly and knowledgeable server who explained the preparation of the specials and standards. We ordered the special appetizer of prawns stuffed with crab, followed by the chopped salad and the kale salad with truffle vinaigrette. All were wonderful, and the chopped salad... More

Tucked inside the back of a Google office building, this large indoor restaurant opens out to a wonderfully airy outdoor space right by the water. Despite post-work crowds, we had a fast, friendly waiter and the pizza was delicious, service was friendly and a good time was had by all.

Friendly service, good 1/2 price wine options on Wednesday but food is mixed. Appetizers for our group were humos (blah), pizza (yummy), crab dip (good). My fish entree was overcooked and boring....no veggies on the plate. Atmosphere is high energy and loud.

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
