We had a family party for eight. Ages from 65 to 3. Everyone had a wonderful time. The food A+++, Service A+++, Price A+++. Everyone in our group was impressed by the professional service and wonderful fare. Everyone at the restaurant made sure we all had a great time! Thank you for making my grand daughter's 16th birthday dinner one... More

Great Italian classic menu good home food, not too fancy just good Italian cooking. Staff are very Italian if you speak the language or are a regular you get much better treatment , we felt left out . Good wine list and good eats worth a visit.

This place is always extremely busy and most nights you do need to reserve to get in. I was therefore expecting something impressive. I liked the bruschetta with burrata, they were very tasty. We then had a salad and a pizza to share. The salad was good, the pizza was very soggy in the middle with a very watery plain... More

In the neighborhood last Thursday around lunch time, saw the doors open to this popular cafe and I had an amazing meal while sitting at their bar. Highly recommend the combo option of their eggplant parm & lasagna entrees. It was delicious! Pasta and bread are not included but it's not necessary given the portion size. Other guests ordered the... More

This is a casual place serving good traditional Italian. On a Tuesday night, it was packed. I started with a Caesar salad which was very traditional , delicious, and not too big ( note that on the menu, it states that the dressing comes on the side, but my salad came dressed, as it should be). For a main course,... More

Server was very pushy we felt rushed. The menu we were looking at was literally closed by server three times telling us to look at specials. Has friends join us and the staff seemed bothered by the additions. Food was ok not bad or good, service would make me think twice before returning.

Walked from Inter Continental on Howard with our 2 daughters on our last night in SF. Found restaurant on Open Table. Interior isn't the greatest and might not attract diners esp the pictures shown on line. But what a great Italian restaurant! Wonderfully friendly staff, including our Italian waiter. We had an excellent bottle of CA wine and the girls... More

From the location to the hospitality, this was the perfect dining experience for our overnight excursion in San Francisco. My family of 6 dined here for an early Saturday evening dinner, and the staff was not only welcoming, but authentic, accommodating and caring. Each member of the family raved about their entrees, and even the children were satisfied. We left... More

We went with a group of 12 for business. Our table was ready when we arrived. Our waiter was fast, professional, polite and friendly all while providing excellent and attentive service. The selected wine arrived in no time, the food arrived after a healthy wait and was hot and delicious. Even so we were the last group, we never felt... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
