Nice place, the Gnocci was very strange and I enjoyable and our server suggested it was the best on the menu. The braised beef was great and we had a mango ginger type drink which was lovely. Great spot for after the Giants game. Busy inside but the patio was awesome in the sun!

Went there prior to a Giants game therefore it was busy. We were lucky in that we sat at the bar that was on the side of the kitchen which allowed us to watch them prepare the food and have dialogue with the chef. Food was good and the service was okay due to everyone trying to get in and... More

The Cobb salad was plentiful, good, fresh and nicely priced at $15. Our party of four also had Taquitos and wings. The décor is nice, modern American style. Service was very slow and could have been nicer: a bad hair day maybe? There is a sister restaurant of the same name in Portland that we will try one of these... More

I went there for a private business lunch so it was a special menu. Food was ok and services worked well.

We had a group of 9 and everyone's food was dry. The waitress seemed visibly annoyed that not everyone started with soup or salad which makes for an uncomfortable setting. The 2 stars are for the beer options, otherwise, it would have been 1 star. I didn't have a problem with the prices, but the food was not worth half... More

I had lunch with a friend on a cold, rainy day in San Francisco. We were told when we arrived that the restaurant was closing early for a private party. Yet, we were not rushed out the door and had very friendly service. Then there is the food -- what a delicious bowl of tomato soup and a wonderful grilled... More

Close to ballpark and the service is good. The food didn't stick out but they did the salad well. It's close to my work and wish they had a bigger selection of foods, lots of unhealthy options.

We were on a mission for food, drinks, and a college football that seemed impossible to find on Thursday. We stumbled across this restaurant and although we didnt have a "real" meal it was one of my favorites in San Francisco. They sat us in a section so we could watch the game we liked. We ordered some great beers,... More

We had our wedding reception here and cannot say enough AMAZING things about the food, service, and staff. Our guests RAVED about the food, especially the mini grilled cheese and Filet. The service staff helped us with anything we and our guests needed and really made our evening magical. Danielle, the event planner was my hero. She was so patient,... More

I stopped in for an early dinner at 4:30pm but they said they would not be handing out the dinner menu until 5:30pm. So I was given the bar menu which listed smaller plates. The mac-n-cheese was very good and only a hint of rosemary; very creamy with a slightly chewy browned top. However, the "greens salad" was a huge... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
