We booked a table for 8 people to find no table once arrived because of overbooking. After much protest and wait we were offered a table. The manager was grumpy and actually rude and the service below average. The food was not worth the price...More

Quaint place with excellent service and a good wine list. Had a light dinner. Burrata special very good, though not as creamy as I have had elsewhere. Caesar salad also good, though portion was on the small side. Pappardelle with wild boar disappointing. Boar was...More

Lovely little restaurant. Nice staff, great service. Beautiful food clearly made to order with fresh ingredients. Fairly expensive, but you get what you pay for.

I wish our dinner at Ventcello had been better . It was a bad dinner. Perhaps our expectation were too high. I had the Cappacio and Gnocchi. The Cappacio was great, the Gnocchi was over smothered in Garganzzoli (?) ...just too much. My wife pizza...More

Nice restaurant in a lovely neighborhood. The food was delicious, service could be better. The prices are a bit high for Italian food.

We had a delicious meal atop one of SF's hills. We interrupted dinner to run outside to watch the fireworks display (as did most of the other patrons) but this was handled perfectly--our next course came when we sat back down and was fresh and...More

A Chirstmas Eve tradition-in-the-making. We'll be returning for the warmth & congeniality of the environment, the creativity & tastiness of the cuisine, and the welcoming attitude of simply everyone on the staff. A delightful experience.

My wife and I had one of our first dates at Venticello many years ago and had not been in for sometime. But the quality is still the same as it was those 16 years ago - excellent food, service, ambiance, and just a great...More

Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the
city and is home to amazing architecture and views.
The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for
those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be
rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful
architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated
with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all
were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that
