The food here was delicious! We loved the oyster flight, and our entrees were great. The setting is very unique and creative. Great place!

The service and staff pleasant, though we had a very pushy young lady serve us, seemed more interested in pushing the most expensive dishes. Selection of 6 oysters, were fair but far too small for their price. Dungeness Crab Egg Drop Soup - disappointing. White...More

My husband and I recently drove the PCH from San Diego to San Francisco and this was the best seafood restaurant we ate at. All of the food was very fresh and cooked perfectly. My husband had the seared tuna and said it was the...More

Been to Farallons numerous times over past several years. Took a group of six. Great atmosphere, great services but this time food was average. Seafood gumbo was strange and not very good. Fish I had was tough and overlooked. Sadly will not be back.

I was finally able to dine at Farallon with my wife! This was probably the 20th time (or maybe more?), that we have done that. We “discovered” Farallon, through a sommelier friend, in San Francisco. He had attended the soft-opening, over 20 years ago, and...More

We booked the restaurant based on concierge recommendation. Very disappointing... The food is more or less ok, but service is poor. Almost zero attention from the waitress, almost at the level of discrimination. Try to avoid this place!

Great location near Union Square and a star at seafood. Despite being preoccupied with work still on arrival the servers were patient and made sure we were taken care of. No appetizers on this trip but both the sea bass and the sablefish were perfectly...More

My wife and I enjoyed dinner at Farallon, during our combined work / play visit to San Francisco in early June. The greeting, reception, and seating went well. We found ourselves in a roomy corner booth, providing a panoramic view of the unique dining room,...More
