We live on the East Coast and, with our adult children living in the Bay Area, have been visiting San Francisco for many years. We have dined at many of San Francisco’s top restaurants but had not dined at Boulevard until this past Monday night,...More

The Boulevard is a classic San Francisco treat. Traditional style dining, rich decor and delicious food. This is a great place for a romantic meal.

Recent business meeting ended at the Boulevard Restaurant. While the food was delightful, I have to admit it was not condusive to conversations. I realize this is a very common problem with popular restaurants these days... but the noise leave made it difficult to converse...More

We visited this on our only real full night in SF and couldn’t have imaged picking a better restaurant. The service was great, the food mouthwatering and atmosphere memorable. We stared with the scallops and calamari followed by mouth-watering halibut and salmon, washed down with...More

No surprise why this has been awarded a Michelin star for so many years in a row. Boulevard is located at 1 Mission St, only a couple of blocks from the Embarcadero. We had a few drinks at the bar to wait for our guests....More

After luckily not getting into the snotty, overcrowded restaurants at the Ferry building, we had the best meal of our trip at the Boullevard. Super service, professional restaurant (as opposed to another US sports bar). Not cheap but worth it.

We were staying near by and booked Boulevard a week in advance. It seemed that tables were already getting hard to come by. Our reservation was fro 7:45pm and it was already heaving. It's a long narrow restaurant dominated by the long bar/grill, with dim...More

We selected this restaurant because of an article in Wine Spectator lauding women chefs at fine restaurants in San Francisco. The food, the restaurant, and the service all attain the high status given by the Wine Spectator. I had a wonderful pork loin dinner. My...More

This amazing restaurant has its own woodfire oven in a gorgeous bygone era west coast charm setting. Ask for a sweet facing their Gold Gate bridge for additional benefit. Food was delicious and great wine mene, prices to match.
