Pleasantly surprised by the amazing food we had at this restaurant that we stumbled across during our travels. Definitely one of the best meals we had during our stay in San Francisco.

This very tiny Asian-fusion restaurant has very good food. The experience is spoiled by a wait-staff and management not interested in customer satisfaction. The manager is very rude and stubborn. The staff is essentially saying, " we don't care if you ever come back, we have a full house every night." Of course, they only have 8 tables to begin... More

The food here is fantastic - modern Asian. Presentation was exquisite with tastes to match. It not a big place and gets busy but is open lunch and dinner. We had small plates to share at lunch. Oysters, shrimp dumplings - the grilled octopus was especially good - scallops, tuna poke (sashimi with salad) and a coconut and passion fruit... More

If you can forgive the location, the walk up queues and the random table then this is a 10/10 food experience. Make a reservation and the rest is easy except you will want an extra course!

Sublime food in a busy setting with great service. We had the mushroom and prawn risotto and steak noodle dish.......food was bursting with flavour and inventive ingredient combinations. Just simply excellent.

Very bad taste and very expensive The restaurant is very small and get noisy so difficult to talk. I would not recommend. For the same quality in Italy I would have paid 30 not 100 dollars!

Had been wanting to try this place for awhile. Very intimate restaurant. Wine list was good. Lots of options. We ordered the tempura string beans, garlic noodles, dumplings, a halibut special, and the special dessert of the night. The halibut was amazing! They cooked it just right. I would pass on the tempura string beans. Very greasy and no flavor... More

The House does an amazing job creating an Asian Fusion menu. I sweat by the Sea Bass with the garlic noodles, I get it every single time. Friendly staff and owners.

Our uber driver recommended this restaurant. Great experience, with extensive menu. We arrived without booking in advance. Space is quite small so recommend booking ahead as it was packed on a Tuesday night! Definitely worth a visit

Staying in North Beach / Telegraph Hill

Neighborhood Profile
North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian ristorante come together to create the charming neighborhood of North Beach, once the stomping grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always suitable for younger visitors, few neighborhoods in the city exude as much European charm and style. Peruse a bookstore for the literature of Kerouac, Ferlinghetti and Ginsberg, grab some gelato and head to Washington Square for a perfect afternoon of people watching. Just east of North Beach, the hills and staircases of Telegraph Hill are a unique delight. At its peak, the art deco Coit Tower provides sweeping panoramic views of the bay and city. The beautifully landscaped Filbert Street Steps, a street too steep for a roadway, rewards those willing to hike uphill. Keep your ears open and you might even hear the squawk of the wild parrots who call this neighborhood home.
