We called in for birthday drinks because they used honey from their own bees to make the Bees Knees cocktail. And yes! The bees do live on the roof and only supply the bar downstairs with their exquisite honey. It was hours old when we...More

Love this place so relaxed and friendly. Their Bees Knees cocktail made with their own organic honey is light and refreshing but the best is the Negroni. Just back from Florence and this bar out did every Negroni we had there. Bravo

One of the best bars in the Marina for a mixture of people and great drinks. It is just a cool, classy little bar. Service is good and easy place to grab a drink or two.

We love this place. Pool, shuffle board, an extensive selection of craft spirits (particularly bourbon), good bar nuts, and clean bathrooms. As well as cool mixologists, but not too overly hipster-esque, all according to my boyfriend:) Fun atmosphere. Great place for a drink after dinner....More

This place was everything we were looking for in pre dinner drinks during our recent stay in the area. We spent six weeks travelling in the US and Canada and subsequently found we were always comparing other places to this one. It was our yardstick...More

Nice bar, very good cocktails with very friendly and helpful staff. Worth a visit and try their special honey bee cocktail. Delicious. Handy of course for the chestnut street area with all the other various bars and restaurants. We had a lovely evening together.

Had after dinner drinks here during a visit to San Francisco to see our adult daughter. We are whiskey fanatics, and this place had a surplus of riches for us. Craft bourbons, single malt scotch, ryes. We could have stayed there for hours. Daughter had...More

Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful
backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to
the Marina. Originally the location for the
Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose
remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much
of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a
world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a
jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city.

Description
Reed & Greenough is the neighborhood cocktail lounge and piano bar for the neighbors and visitors alike - the perfect meeting place for before and after dinner drinks, with dozens of great restaurants within walking distance. We boast exceptional cocktails, signature drinks made with our own rooftop honey (try the Bees Knees!), fresh squeezed juices daily, and an impressive Whisk(e)y selection. Six nights a week we have live piano music. There's a game room with a shuffleboard & billiards in a unique, sophisticated setting. Great draft beer and wine selection with happy hour available too! We offer a cheese plate, but no other food is available. Please feel free to bring a meal in our establishment!
