Tried the ceviche sampler, plantain chips and lamb with chimichurri. Lamb was extremely tender, absolutely perfect. My favorite 3 out of the 6 in ceviche sampler were Ceviche Allanza Lima, Tiradito Pucusana & Tiradito Nikkei. Absolutely delicious!

We met our friends at Fresca on a recommendation from their daughter, who calls San Francisco home. Our friends grew up in Peru and Ecuador said that ther daughter loved the food there. The restaurant serves authentic Peruvian food, is really clean, has great atmosphere and even better food. If you like paella consider adding this to your places to... More

Ceviche is one of the pillars of Peruvian food and Fresca missed the mark. I had the Alianza; it was way too spicy (real ceviche in Peru is lemony with a little kick - this was extremely hot). My companions ceviche had a fish bone inside the ceviche. The antichuchos of beef heart were excellent. soft and chewy. I could... More

Enjoyed the food, everything was flavorful and well-prepared. The only complaint is that some of the portions are small, particularly for the price.

The food was more comfort than artsy but we enjoyed it! The South American characteristics added to the food - onions, cilantro, etc, - made the food more appetizing. And I must say, the cevice was very good! Take advantage of the lunch specials (cevice not included though).

I dined at this restaurant for Sunday brunch with 20 other travelers after visiting Golden Gate Park and was underwhelmed to say the least. My friends and I ordered a variety of dishes which were OK but nothing special. I was in the mood for burger and fries. The burger was OK, the fries were bland. This food along with... More

We ordered an anticucho pollo, paella and aji de gallina. The best was the anitcucho. The paella was so watery, it was like a risotto. We only ordered it because another customer who was outside waiting with us recommended it. He did warn that the paella was sometimes dry and sometimes oily, what we got was soupy instead. I have... We ate here and tried appetizers, entrees and dessert. All food was delicious and prepared well. Sangrias were the bomb. Pork was very tender as was the lomos saltada. A definite must try....

Went there for lunch and ordered the Lomos Saltados. Very good and very well seasoned. The beef was great and lean. Lots of potatoes and rice. Great lunch which included salad and a drink for $15. Worth every penny and the service was excellent.
