Food at Jardiniere is really really good! Although the menu is a little limited, it really worth trying those amazing plates. Sizes are also small so definitely not to share! haha.. The service is really nice, the make a whole difference to the experience and if you are into fine wines, this is the place, really good wine list to... More

We went here for our 40th Anniversary with our family. The ambiance was wonderful, the food was fabulous, and the service impeccable. Our waiter was the best we've encountered anywhere. The chicken and duck dishes were the hit of the evening. Appetizers and starters were all fantastic. Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. It was a special evening with... More

This is a lovely Art Deco restaurant with a nice bar and a romantic setting for fine dining after the performing arts.

Went out with a few of business friends when in SF for a conference. Great service, good food, nicely done - even for the vegetarians. The brazilians were so-so about the Salmon so only a four rating.

The location, across the street from War Memorial Opera house was what attracted us initially. We cut it close by getting a 5:45 reservation. Too close. We probably would have had time, if it had been just us. Not so. Pretty much everyone there was going to the opera as well. So the food was a bit slow arriving, and... More

The food is very good, the portions are very small, and the price is very expensive. You need a reservation or, if you are early enough, you can sit and eat at the bar. The service is great and staff is attentive. I was surprised the portions were so small for the price. The menu is limited and always changing. If... More

Best overall experience we've had when dining away in a long time. Waiter was a delight. We were not rushed and more importantly, not neglected. Flavor and presentation of food was very nice. Specialty cocktails and deserts were superb. You will pay a premium price for not a lot of food, so if you aren't prepared for that, you may... More

Location is great near opera house and symphony hall, the building itself is also very intriguing with red bricks walls and open atrium in the center. We can here for my son's birthday and theater afterward. The food is excellent in taste and presentation. The waiter convinced us to order side dish in addition to the main course which turned... Attending a show in Hayes Valley this was the end of the season so we decided to splurge and get a reservation. It takes planning to get a reservation since this is a "bucket list" place. But I'm not sure (actually I am).... I will not go back. There are better options, further away from the Opera house and Symphony... More
