We had a great time here! The cocktails were amazing and went down smoothly. I recommend the 5 Spot which a rum based cocktail. We had several plates and all were delicious but a bit on the small serving size. We enjoyed the Duck liver...More

Happened to stumble upon this gem of a restaurant on our trip to San Fran! One of a few nice places that were open pretty late for a Sunday! The ambiance was nice and it's a hip spot to visit. The food was fun and...More

Situated on a quieter corner in the lower Haight, my husband and I came for dinner and drinks. The food menu is on the small side ( about 5 different main course options). The food was good, but the cocktails are the main event! We...More

We chose Maven simply because we wanted someplace nearby where we were all going out and wanted to be able to make a reservation. Maven had space & the menu looked like it had enough variety for our group. We had the Brussels sprouts for...More

Great spot for brunch! We went there one Sunday morning, we were amongst the first to get in and my advice would be you do the same. It got busy pretty quickly but it was worth it. Great food and a decent selection of wine,...More

Maven is definitely cozy, with communal tables and short but well-developed bar. But what it lacks in size it packs in atmosphere, grand service, creative cocktails (Death In The Afternoon - Bubbles over Absinthe Sorbet), and great food. After we tired of our former brunch...More

We started with great cocktails and their yummy fries. Had their salad that was ok and their spring onion soup with a poached egg on top. The presentation was nice but bland and no flavor. We could not eat it! Would not recommend but maybe...More

We stepped by for some late brunch and was very satisfied with what we got. 3 of 4 in the group chose the Duck Hash and was not disappointed. Duck Confit is always awesome, and the combo with spicy Hashbrown potatoes and a fried egg...More

Excellent cocktails paired with simple, good food that is moderately priced given the quality. Great spot for a date or group outing, especially at the communal tables. Highly recommended!

The area surrounding the intersection of Haight and
Ashbury streets, “The Haight” still exudes vibes of
the 1960s counterculture as a haven for vintage
clothes, music, pop posters and body piercing shops.
While the Summer of Love ended decades ago,
Haight-Ashbury has turned into a melting pot of
hippies, hipsters, and professionals. Walking through
its streets can still feel like stepping back in time.
