We visited here on the search for good coffee and it didn't disappoint. The ice coffee was great and avocado on toast a must try for breakfast! Will definitely be back before we leave.

Awesome funky little coffee joint with a sun drenched morning aspect and a beautiful selection of hand crafted coffee. Great place for a coffee meeting or your morning caffeine fix... will be back again!

Was recommended by a friend so I thought I'd check it out while in SFO. Opened at 7:00 so got going early going to beat any queue. Got there at 7:20 & too late already, a small queue had already formed. The POS staff were pretty quick. Had the poached eggs on toast, waffles & a cappuccino. Everything was delicious... More

Very unique and great place. Had the avocado toast and an egg dish. Both were really good. However, if you are in a hurry, this may not be the place to go.

Visiting the US for 2 weeks and feeling nervous about being able to get the kind of coffee that we are used to in Sydney, Australia. This cafe was highly recommended by a fellow Australian. It did not disappoint. Actually this was the first coffee ordered during our trip and it is now day 11 and after many cups of... More

Heard how good Blue Bottle Coffee was and I couldn't wait to try it! Luckily, our hotel was near one. We had Blue Bottle Coffee almost everyday! Great way to start the day! Excellent Coffee. & I also liked their chocolates! They're a bit pricey though.

There are lots of cafes in SF and this is one of the best I tried during my visit. The coffee was great. I had an egg dish with tomatoes and spices that was really good. They have a nice little selection of muffins and baked goods as well as full breakfasts like eggs and more. There is some seating... More

Very popular coffee shop. Had to queue to get in at 7 am. The coffee was very good. Their baristas were very good and had all the latest gear. The seating in the shop is fairly limited. It's mainly stools so you're not going to want to sit and relax there. Prices are good too, around $4 for a coffee.

We had breakfast at this very nice little Café and it turned out to have been an excellent choice. We both had the Avocado toast and it was delicious! Didn't try the coffee but it looked and smelled really good. There aren't a lot of seats but it seemed to always work out that whenever someone had ordered at the... More

Absolutely loved the atmosphere of this location. Though the staff at the POS wasn't the most pleasant, the baristas made up for it. My almond milk latte was super creamy, zero percent bitter and just plain delicious. Bought some beans to take home in fact. Would absolutely recommend and revisit.

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
