tasted different kind of donuts and they're amazing! Really good, the venue is genuine and service is good. Prices: below the average on absolute level and compared to the quality of products they provide! In my opinion, the only donut in town to keep up to Dynamo Donuts (still the best in town, but pretty pricey)

Freaking delicious! Wanted the apple fritter but they were already out so went for a crumb donut and a bite or seven of apple cake. Heavenly!! Great strong coffee to boot. Doesn't look like much from the street but don't miss this place!

Went here on a Saturday around 4:00pm and had some really good donuts. The lady working (owner?) was very helpful in picking out our selections. Our group got about 5/6 different varieties but the sugar glaze and the filled long John were the hits!

This place had a line outside at 10 a.m. on a Sunday...not long but indicative of people who just want plain, good donuts. All the traditional ones and the crumb cake one was delicious. No foo-foo ones with bacon, licorice, or ham here....Just nice traditional ones.

Well if you like donuts, and you need some any time of the day or night, go to Bobs. Great selection, great service. I like cake donuts....their maple cake donut might be the best ever! Fritters, old fashioned, long johns, all good. Did not try coffee

I've been to Bob's at 3am and 3pm. It's awesome. They're made fresh and you're guaranteed to meet all sorts of interesting people! I stop by here whenever I've had a night out on Polk.

Such a fun place to go have donuts. My 14 year old son LOVED the large donut eating challenge. Very friendly staff.

What a cute, authentic place. Looks like a small business, nothing fancy about the place. Donuts are great, fresh and super yummy. Flavors are basic. If you are looking to get a great donut this is the spot. We loved the huge donuts, the kids took pix with it and the taste didn't disappoint.

This no frills donut shop was one of our happiest pit stops in San Francisco. The woman working the register and the young cook were the friendliest people we met in town, and the giant donut we split was delicious! The shop could use a face-lift, but who cares when the smiles and donuts are such an amazing start to... More

Staying in Nob Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
