We rented the backroom for my daughter's engagement party. Service was great! It was crowded but convivial.

It's located on rapidly gentrifying 24th Street, and is an okay pitstop when wandering around the Mission. Standard pub, with standard pub fare, Irish female bartender, nice U-shaped bar, pool table. Go here for a change when you've had enough tacos.

Came here for dinner. It's not a big pub but was quite busy we luckily got a table. Bar staff were Irish, don't come across that a lot so that was good. Wish they had air con but can't complain there were fans. Food was amazing we were so stoked to get a good feed! Drinks were excellent too haha!... More

Burgers, fish and chips, bangers and mash, nice selection of salads, beer, cocktails, pool table, 5 or more tv's. A good place to take teen boys to watch sports on tv or practice their pool skills. Everyone who works there is friendly. Fun place to have a bite and watch the game.

On a recent trip to San Fran we called in to Napper Tandys for a meal and a few drinks. The services was excellent as was the food. A good bar athmosphore complemented by the food. Mostly Irish workers which was nice and very frindley without being intrusive. Thanks Saoirse for an enjoyable experience at Napper Tandys. We will be... More

Came here last night with some friends on an impromptu pub crawl. It was pretty busy still at 8:30 on a Friday but still got a table. The server was quick to respond and very friendly. The cocktails were reasonably strong and priced. Mixed clientele but all seemed cool. Didn't try the food but quite a few people in the... More

What a wonderful place! The staff are an Irish blessing! They are so hospitable. The drinks are superb and they are willing to adjust if you need. The food too is excellent. I had Crabcake Eggs Benedict that were so tasty on homemade English muffins. The Hollandaise sauce was perfect. You really shouldn't miss trying this neighborhood pub.

Lots of pub type atmosphere, the usual selection of Guinness & other related brews. I enjoyed a very good hamburger, and one of my companions ordered the Irish stew which looked very appetizing.

On a recent trip to San Francisco, we found ourselves looking for a place near the Powell Street Bart Station where we could meet up with a friend who lives in the Mission District. After walking just a few blocks from the train station, we came upon The Napper Tandy Irish Pub. The chalkboard menu outside offered half-price appetizers on... More

From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighborhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners.
