A great little restaurant catering to locals, etc. 5 spicy chicken and the combo were our choice sandwiches economically friendly and a bustling lunch crowd.

I had the pork belly option and it was quite good. The pork was tender and juicy, the veggies were fresh and plentiful. It wasn't super flavorful or spicy so some siracha definitely helped but overall I would definitely go again. Disclaimer: This was my first experience with a bánh mì sandwich so I have little to compare it by.

I got the Saigon peanut bowl and it was very fresh but lacked flavor! Also one piece of the the chicken was slightly overdone and a little chewy. Too bad! I think they could improve with a little effort as the ingredients were fresh but just underseasoned.

What's distinctive about Vietnamese sandwiches (bánh mì) is the pickled carrot and radish. The content of the sandwich doesn't matter - it could be pork, chicken, pâté (never steak, though - Saigon ain't Philly!) - but the nước mắm fish sauce with which to pickle the carrot MUST be mixed correctly. The one at Bun Mee is definitely not! The... More

We passed by this restaurant and saw delicious corns with spicy sauce on them so we decided to try. Banh mi was not crunchy. I donot like pork with fat and skin in my banh mi. They advertised broiled corns but I thought they were boiled corns

Liked this place a lot - sweet staff and great bahn mi sandwiches. Both tofu and bread were crispy and delicious. Also the place itself was cute and nice to hang around in.

We did a take-out dinner -- one a chicken with rice, the other pork -- and enjoyed them both. The pork came with hot peppers and was tastier for me. But both dishes were fine without being even remotely gourmet.

This is a fun little restaurant with good sandwiches that are a take on the Vietnamese Bahn Mi. They offer a spicy and non-spicy version of each of their sandwiches, so it's even good for people who are a little less adventurous. The prices are reasonable, but it's not what I'd call inexpensive.

Best part of my steak sandwich was the crusty bread. They didn't have the drinks as posted on the menu. Not very comfortable. Service quite abrupt. I wouldn't return.

I wanted a quick bite, nothing too fancy. That's easier said than done in that part of Fillmore. I had the Lemongrass Pork with House Mayo Banh Mi. It was brought to my table. It was not large, pretty tasty. It cost over $9, which strikes me as being a bit much for a small sandwich.
