Delicious. Fresh. Great service. Good value. There is a small eating area although we didn't use it. Within walking distance of Buena Vista Hotel.

I just had a vegetarian sandwich and it is so so so so good ., I loved every bite of it and it had such good flavors .. I went back I. To thank them for making such delicious sandwiches and the prize is just right and very affordable

This was a great find on a busy street. The subs were delicious, made to order, and reasonably priced. The subs were cooked and warmed to perfection. Bottled sodas, water, juice, beer & chips were available as well. The shop itself is small, but there were a couple small tables to sit at. The gentleman that helped us was friendly and helpful. This was the perfect meal for us after a long flight.

We only went to this place on our last day - wish we'd been in earlier. The subs are great. I had a pizza one - not overly stuffed with ingredients so you could actually eat it. They were a good size too - not huge like most USA food. The bread was light and crispy and the whole thing was delicious. There is a small area where you can sit but it's not air conditioned but does have a wall fan. Service was fast and friendly.

I am vegan and it is concerning when I go to a new restaurant. I explained to the gentleman that I don’t eat meat or meat products and he told me my options. I ordered the Avocado sub with mustard and veggies and it was the best sub I have EVER eaten! The bread was crisp on the outside and the veggies were so very fresh. We had just arrived in San Francisco and the restaurant was just across the street. It was a Blessing as we were exhausted and it was our first time in this city and didn’t want to venture far away. We had dinner from there the next night also after a day of touring. I HIGHLY recommend this establishment and the owner. Thank you Sir!

After a busy day we wanted something closeby that we could bring back to our room. We saw Viking Subs and decided to try it. One word ... AMAZING. We loved our subs. I had pastrami and have to say it’s the best pastrami I’ve had in many years. You can eat there or take it to go as we did. Small place with great food.

We were hungry and looking to grab a quick bite after a long walk up and down the Lombard street. Lucky having found this place. Its a small place run by a couple. The subs we ordered were delicious. Will definitely recommend.

Picked up a crab sub sandwich one morning to take with us to the Alcatraz tour and it was delicious and a good price! Would definitely recommend!!

We stayed at a hotel across the street and were told by the front desk to go here for lunch, and it was an excellent recommendation!! It’s a small family run place with a handful of tables and delicious subs! Everything was fresh and the bread was amazing! If you’re in the area, stop in!

This sub shop was delicious. I got a BLT sub and a Turkey sub. Both sandwiches were delicious, and I only got a small for both. They had a good amount of meat on them, and they were filling. This is a must go to again!!!!

Across from Hotel, came up in several searches for food nearby. Ham and cheese sub, toasted, everything on it. Very small place, but owners keep it clean and decorated. All of about 4 small tables.
If you are in area and need a sub, then would stop by. The did use a sesame style bun that tasted different from the usual manufactured bread in the bigger chains.
The rave reviews seem to be lost on me, but gave a 4 for the bread, and bringing the subs out to table.
