This restaurant has only 3 tables, 4 if you count the 2 stools by the counter. Meals are served in 3 shifts so make reservations way ahead of time. Set menu, but it is very creative. Just because of its name, chicken is not necessarily the entree. We had lamb tonite. A must for all.

MY son took us to this very interesting place to eat on our trip to San Francisco. The food was way beyond our expectations. WILL and Johnny were really awesome.

This is a small restaurant seating 11 diners with no ambience. What you come here is for the food prepared by the two owners, Johnny and Will. The four course meal starts with a tomato soup with which is laced with a garlic oil making this soup taste really good. The next was a chicken arepa which is a corn... More

What an absolute delight. If you are in San Francisco contact this place if you want a memorable meal at a fantastic price. The outside is in complete contrast to the inside and what a great experience and thanks to some guys we were staying with nearby we found out about this place. Don't just turn up though as booking... More

Located in the Mission District, a tiny little hole in the wall that only seats 12 people 3 x per night. No menu, it's what the chef has gotten from the farmers market that day. FANTASTIC 5 course meal...VERY low key..and you will be amazed. NEVER judge a book by its cover...this place you HAVE to go to..if you can.

Loved this restaurant. With only 3 tables or so and a bar it delivers excellent food that I believe changes daily. (an unbelievable 4 tasting courses for $25) To give you an idea we had a lovely persimmon, pear and fennel salad to start...a fabulous Italian wedding soup with fennel sausage,...Steak and baby carrots sautéed in coffee....and a nice dessert.... Knowing how small this place is, we arrived early and waited outside before they opened for the three or so tables that are inside. The competitive vibe for seating was apparent as one of the larger, overly enthusiastic patrons pushed past our party of four to the front door when it opened into the tiny space. Everything would have been... More

This was one of my favorite meals of all time. It's a tasting menu but we were stuffed when we were done. The food was eclectic and each course better than the next. It's small so call and make reservations. There are three seatings a night. The price is very reasonable and the chef is a fun guy. We will... More
