I tend to grab take away most of the time as I’m visiting alone and I like the place, but this time we sat in and it was equally as good. Service could be a bit more attentive and proactive but overall it was efficient...and helpful when prompted. The food is always consistently very good!More

Our first night in San Francisco so we decided to take a little walk from Union Squire and we came across this lovely little restaurant one block away. It looks to be a family run business and offered a wide range of menu options and...what we had was good. The Take Away business seemed to be very popular as well. The service was good and they could understand us Aussies which is a plus . Very quick meal prep and lovely and hot.More

The Old Siam Restaurant serves reliably good Thai food, with some very good daily specials as well as all of the common Thai dishes like Pad Thai, etc. Had a very good grilled chicken with tamarind BBQ sauce and excellent fresh rolls with shrimp to...start with. Prices are reasonable and it is a good place to dash in for a quick lunch or dinner when attending a conference at the SF Hilton or Marriott. Have been several times over the years and service is always friendly, efficient and helpful.More

Pad thai and fried rice are very good. We took appetizers also just as crab rolls but be careful as portion are very generous. Service is very efficient. A good thai experience.

Doesn't look much from the outside but we were delighted with our meal, very tasty, great choices and staff were nice. Busy restaurant with locals and tourists. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

We were in town for a family Thanksgiving weekend and decided to have Thai for lunch one day. Good choice! They were able to seat us (party of 6) fairly quickly and we all had various versions of their lunch special. The Beef salad was...a bit spicier than we are used to, so if you like your spices a bit milder be sure to mention that. And while we ordered the Tom Yum Gai soup they misunderstood and brought us the Tom Kah Guy (Coconut mild) soup instead. It was ok, but be sure to make your order very clear. Portions were more than adequate, service was efficient and fairly quick, and food was good.More

We needed a quick dinner and headed to Old Siam Thai Restaurant. Service was prompt and food was delicious! Huge bowl of soup - plenty to feed two adults. Shared a fried rice dish and another entree also. Comfort food on a cold wet night...in San Francisco! Reasonable prices, good food and prompt service. All reasons to recommend The Old Siam Thai Restaurant!More

Food was good but did not appreciate the service. The servers were rude. Recommend for the food but do not expect a good experience
