If I could order them to be shipped to IL... I would. I loved them. I just had a chocolate cupcake with buttercream and a white cupcake with buttercream but both were so delicious. Warm chocolate chip cookie was amazing too. I would so return if I could. Staff was friendly and there were so many choices .... wish I... More

This was a random stop after lunch at a nearby restaurant. The cakes look and smell amazing, but I opted for a sugar cookie sandwich with their amazing buttercream frosting in the middle. I bought my husband a 7 layer bar. We both loved our choices! They have cupcakes and other individual items. Well worth a stop if you're in... More

We were staying at a local inn and ran over here for dessert! Yummy cupcakes in all flavors and fabulous key lime pie which can be for two!

I love desserts. As Marie Antoinette joked "Let them eat cake! The decor is old-school, almost like a soda fountain/bakery mix. The cakes look like they flew in from the '50s, and taste amazing. Tried the Celebration Cake ~ $5, wow, the cake is dense and delicious, the frosting is just fantastic and usually arranged in the correct proportions. A... More

I was so excited to try it out but was sorely disappointed by the dryness of the strawberry and vanilla cakes. The chocolate was tasty and moist, but when it's 1/3 is good then it's not a great place considering we paid almost $12. Overpriced and dry!

This place consistently serves fresh and very tasty cupcakes as well as birthday cakes and cookies. The line can be quite long as I guess they have their well deserved reputation. Also try to avoid the last half hour of service as they tend to me sold out and only have some cupcakes left.

Say, these sweets aren't cheap, but price isn't everything: you will be returning again for a real taste experience. It's that good!

My wife and I had the coconut cupcake and red velvet. Awesome! We went back for more since these were so good. With so many bakeries in California, these people know what they are doing! And the staff was great! Thanks Susie's Cakes! YUM!

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
