secret breakfast? it's cornflakes and bourbon--what a concept Secret breakfast? It's cornflakes and bourbon. I tasted blue bottle Vietnamese coffee and several other flavours before settling on a generous scoop of chocolate nib salty caramel ice cream. Just about everything ice cream should be. Would have preferred the salty caramel without the chocolate but itwas still very good. Prices a... More

Outstanding ice cream. We had great service - were able to taste nearly every flavor without even asking! I settled on the Vietnamese iced coffee flavor, which was superb, and my companion had the chocolate smoked sea salt. They were quite good together. Can't wait to go back!

We had a bacon maple debacle at Dynamo the previous day. There were no bacon maple donuts left by the time we three reached the counter. So, the following day we three set sail west in search of a secret. The line was expansive, it was Saturday, and it was roasting...give me some damn ice cream! We approached the cobalt... More

Read a review of this place in one of the UK newspapers and thought we'd come out here for an ice cream. So we jumped on the BART and made our way out to here. It was well worth the trip! The flavours are not all available at once it would seem so it's a bit of pot luck. We... More

Visited a friend who was near this restaurant and he brought us to this place. You need to know that I am milk intolerant. So, I am very picky and discrete when I am offered things with milk in it. Well, my friend's wife recommended "secret breakfast" as it was her favorite choice. Well, I asked for a few scoops... More

This item was listed on San Francisco's 7x7 2013 Big Eat 100 Things to Eat before You Die, so I had to try it. I tasted the Secret Breakfast flavor before selecting the Blue Bottle Vietnamese Coffee flavor. Both were very good, but I liked the coffee more.

I made the trip out to The Mission to try the odd flavors of ice cream here. They let you try sample with tiny spoons which is a smart move cause who the hell knows what Government Cheese tastes like. If you go to their website, don't expect every flavor listed to be available when you go. I'm guessing they... More

I had Jesus Juice (red wine and coke with some cinnamon) sorbet and Butter beer, a combination of their Stout and Brown Butter ice creams. Both were fantastic - if I lived anywhere near here I'd be buying them by the gallon!
