We were brought to Humphry Slocombe by a family member to try the unique flavored ice cream, glad we went there. There are some many crazy flavors. The ice cream was awesome. If you have any doubts to how a flavor taste, you can get a tasting. The Secret Breakfast, Fluffer Nutter and Vietnamese flavor were great.

Try the Harvey Milk and honey Graham's. Very yummy. Also see documentaries and movies about this assassinated hero in SF history.

If I can wait out the line, I like to stop by this place's Ferry Building outpost for a scoop, or as I did this morning, an Ice cream float (today featuring Coke from an old fashioned curvy glass bottle and "Secret Breakfast" ice cream (corn flakes and bourbon). At $8 it's a pricey treat, but worth it occasionally. A... More

O. M. G. Best ice cream ever. I had the Secret Breakfast (bourbon ice cream with cornflake cookie crumbles) AND a scoop of smoked sea salt and chocolate ice cream. Perfectly creamy and rich and silky texture. Flavors were EXACTLY as if I was chewing a spoonful of cornflake cookie and milk with a bourbon back (on the Secret Breakfast... More

Informed of food allergies: peanuts. Asked if they could wash scooper (they have a peanut butter ice cream). A very thoughtful and caring employee was going to open up a whole new container of ice cream to take out one scoop. Unusual flavors of ice cream. Went to the Ferry Building the day before, less choices and ice cream seemed... More

Thanks to this establishment, my life is now divided into two distinct time periods: my lost years before June 7, 2014 at 3:46 p.m, the day I tasted Secret Breakfast ice cream, and now everything that comes after. Yesterday it would have seemed silly to sell my house and move to SF to be closer to an ice cream purveyor.... More

One of the best things we ate at the Ferry Terminal (its other outlet, but with less flavours) on our first day in SF. Love the Blue Bottle Vietnamese Coffee and Harvey Milk & Honey (milk & graham cracker). The Ancho Chocolate was a tad too rich, even for a chocolate lover.

Some variety but only 7 choices on our visit day. Saw this place in a travel channel show and expected much more. The kids working are friendly but the pre-visit TV hype was just that. Not worth going out of your way to visit this place.

I go to Humphry Slocombe any time I'm in town. I never miss an opportunity to have a scoop of Secret Breakfast ice cream (their signature flavor which is made of bourbon and corn flakes). Yes, it sounds crazy, and it is. But it is amazing! You never know what flavors you'll find when you go but they will be... More

Great ice cream, loved everything I tried. Got a three scoop with Tahitian Vanilla, Chocolate with Roasted Sea Salt, and Peanut Butter Curry. Beware the "Secret Breakfast" if cornflakes and bourbon is not your kind of thing.
