Ambiance is very nice, we sat at the reclaimed wood table in the front. We were a little snug with 14, but we have some small kids, so it wasn’t bad. Food was good and service was prompt. I was surprised there was no bread...More

Overall, we had a very nice meal. You could only choose the entry and some of the courses were not hot when they arrived. It took a long time to get the food. After 2 1/2 hours, we were sort of asked to leave so...More

I found good reviews prior to booking, so normal days may be better. After this experience I do not think I would return. We had a 6:30 reservation for a holiday dinner and were seated. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks. This was...More

This resteraunt was chosen by a conference organizer for it’s location and food ratings. I agree with the quality of the food as completely five star. Everything I tried was the most flavorful and beautifully presented food I could hope for. The menu was limited....More

We went here the first night we got into town for drinks and some light snacks. The bartender was great and quite friendly. The drinks were abnormally good as well as the food. We went again the next night. Go here! It's great!

Stopped in for a late, light dinner, we were staying at the Marriott next door. Nice place, relaxing ambiance. Food was delicious. The squash soup was great! The deviled egg is delicious! Service was wonderful ! Perfect for a late night bite!

This is a new place for us. The last time we were in the City this space was storage for the Marriott's on Mission. Whoever did the makeover did a nice job. Bluestem is located the top of Yerba Buena Lane, which has a row...More

First, let me start by saying: The food was amazing! I had the vegan option because I have a thing for mushrooms. It was worth all $25! I know I could have bought an entire weeks-worth of produce at the farmer's market for that, but...More

Entertained customers for happy hour during Oracle’s Open World conference. Bluestem is conveniently located close to the Moscone Center. Their food quality is suburb. We enjoyed a charcuterie and cheese board, lamb meatballs, and housemaid focaccia bread with burrata cheese. They have a full bar...More

Very peculiar and diverse menu, great food. A few more plain items (a soup) would be welcome (some are really hot/spicy). Service was really professional. The place is well appointed, simple but stylish just a little too dark at nite and frozen temperature... expensive in...More

South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated
vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs
and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to
find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter
for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able
to do more than just business - museums, top quality
restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call

Offering all-day dining and outdoor rooftop terrace overlooking bustling Market Street, Bluestem Brasserie is an urban neighborhood restaurant, located just steps from the Four Seasons on Yerba Buena Lane. Designed by San Francisco's mod-master Olle Lundberg (Slanted Door, The Moss Room, Rudd Oakville Estate), the lively American brasserie is helmed by Executive Chef John Griffiths alongside Executive Pastry Chef Lori Baker; and features a familiar, protein-focused brasserie menu of fresh, simply composed dishes; nostalgic treats; distinct cocktails; a California-centric wine list with nods to France; and 12 wines on tap, sourced directly from some of Napa and Sonoma's finest producers and offered at a great value. Named after the indigenous North American grass favored by cattle ranchers, Bluestem showcases beautiful cuts of sustainably produced grass-fed beef from highly regarded purveyors.
