We stayed in SAN Francisco five days and ate at the Grove four mornings, it was that good!!! The service was great and the atmosphere was very friendly. I highly recommend it.

It is always nice to find a restaurant that doesn't serve the basics, but offers unique choices. The food is great! You order at the counter and find a table. The seating choices are unique as well, from a normal table & chairs to a sofa & coffee table.

The Grove is a busy lunch spot near Mascone Center and Marquis. Options for salad, sandwiches and breakfast-for-lunch. I was looking for salad and The Grove didn't disappoint with 6 options. During busy lunch hours, be prepared for short wait in line before seating. Servers will deliver food to the table. Seating inside and out, and it's fun to listen... More

great breakfast, almost everyday you will have to queue up but its worth the queue which moves fast anyway. I love the spread and ended up eating here everyday.

As many years as I've been attending conferences at Moscone Center, I never visited this place before. A colleague said it was worth a try--and it was very good! I had a eggs benedict dish and a cup of very good coffee (in an old-fashioned ceramic cup!) ;-) The "indoor trees" made for an unusual but relaxing setting. Nice!

Another great find on the road, thanks to Trip Advisor. Very short walk from the Moscone Center and Marriott Marquis, two locations that I have been going between for the last 3 days. I stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday night and first I was amazed by the decor and vibe of the place. The colorful lights on the... More

It was awesome to find great food at a great price! The staff appeared happy--a rarity, I think--and were helpful and prompt. The servings were large and delicious. We had the guac chopped salad (yummy!) and the tacos. Next table over had a chicken pot pie that looked amazing! I highly recommend this place. Casual and eclectic, with outdoor seating.... More

My husband and I enjoyed breakfast here on a Sunday morning. We were greeted by a host - although not in the traditional sense - who handed us menus and explained how the process worked... You order at the counter and your food is brought to you. It was about 10 minutes to order and we got our food about... More

Went there with friends for brekfast. Omletes were just great. Waited in the line bit long but it worth it.

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
