My wife found this while I was at a meeting one morning, and as a vegan she loved the options for breakfast. I joined her the next morning and loved the smoked salmon omelet. You order first and then find a seat, which is ok as long as they are not too crowded.

Whilst staying in San Francisco we had breakfast at The Grove twice and one evening meal here. The decor in this restaurant is lovely and all the staff were good and friendly to deal with. We thought that the food was okay, nothing amazing, personally it feels like the food is being prepared for a chain of restaurants rather than... More

We loved this place so much we went back twice! There's something magical about this place, it oozes San Francisco. From the craft brews on tap to the delicious but not too fancy foods, you're sure to find something here. The atmosphere is laid back, the music is great, and so is the grilled cheese!

Our family liked The Grove so much that we ate here several times on our short trip. The sandwiches were delish and we especially enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange juice. The bathrooms here were also very clean.

Stayed at Park Central hotel and went to The Grove for breakfast daily. The atmosphere inside the restaruant was very cozy to have breakfast, coffee, and read news before getting your day started. Along with the cozy atmosphere, the food was excellent!!

This apparently is a very popular place among locals and visitors. Proof of it the numerous very good reviews this place has. Went there for breakfast on a Sunday and when we got to the corner of the street, we saw a fairly long queue coming out of the restaurant. It did not seem to be moving and the cold... More

Had fantastic breakfast here two days in a row. Line up (worth the 15min wait), order and take a number and a seat. The food is delish, coffee was great, OJ was freshly squeezed, soup was delicious, omelettes we tried were very good. If your after a good feed in the heart of the city, at a place where locals... Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
