The food is amazing in this place, we had fried chicken and a sandwich of fried oyster which was delicious. This is traditional American food and it's really worth trying.

they know how to fry! had the oyster po boy and the fried chicken and the beignets.....plus the gumbo. everything was delicious. they use Leidenheimer bread for their po boys - it doesn't overwhelm the fillings - the oysters were crunchy and very flavorful - the half po boy had 3 oysters - but they were pretty big and the... The bread was perfect- light, airy and crispy on the outside. Oysters of just the right size for frying and perfectly done. Hot sausage with the exactly right taste I was in food heaven!

The fried oysters were terrific - nice crispy exterior, and moist and tender on the inside. The fried chicken was also good: crispy exterior -- with just the right amount of spice -- and moist chicken inside.
