Just outside the centre of SF we experienced an unexpected high quality restaurant. Excellent sushi and otter Japanse food. A great sake wine card. Fresh and delicious. Sushi with perfection and passion. I highly recommand this place.

We were a little apprehensive as the storefront was unassuming and this city block was less than inviting. But it was a welcoming experience within - excellent service with knowledgeable wait staff navigating the diners through a wide array of sushi and seafood, much of it just flown in or freshly caught. We had rolls, sushi, and sashimi of various... More

I went here by recommendation of someone. It was a very good experience. I was able to try many things not available to me on the east coast. The staff was courteous and very accommodating. A nice selection flown in from Japan complements a good offering of fish. I will definately come here on my next trip timSan Francisco.

Intimate restaurant a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of Hayes Valley. We had the "Sushi Tapas" which were small servings of hot dishes. Very tasty and reasonably priced for SF. Amazing board of specialty sushi that made want to come back and have more. Will return again!

The sushi here is incredible. Expect a wait even if you have made a reservation - it's a small place. They fly in the fish on the specials board from Japan. We tried the roasted sesame seed ice cream - tasted a lot like coffee. was interesting.

This is a relatively small, cozy place but it has great sushi // sashimi, it is not cheap, though!. They offer the freshest fish, creatively prepared , tastefully decorated, a delight for eye and palet, alike. Highly recommended!!
