Met old friends for lunch here today. We sampled a bunch of dishes: Carpaccio, Sformato, the Prosciutto with gnocchi, The mushroom pizza, Petrale sole, the Agnolotti pasta (like tortellini), with several meats, the Tagliatelle with Modenese sauce, and the famous Raviolo in brown butter. All...More

Had a pork dish, very taste. My friend had pasta, also enjoyed very much. Very good drinks and definitely awesome service. It gets crowed because it is good but also very small.

it's youthful, fresh and buzzing, but the food is still generous and very well done. I particularly enjoyed a starter of raw halibut chunks and the Budino pudding of layered coffee and white chocolate mousses.

North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds
of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian
ristorante come together to create the charming
neighborhood of North Beach, once the stomping grounds
for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of North
Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always
suitable for younger visitors, few neighborhoods in
the city exude as much European charm and style.

I think you can do either, but I recall Sunday Supper may have been a better value. I’m sure if you call the restaurant, they can tell you for sure.
