I can hardly wait to go back! We were there for my birthday celebration on Friday night. I was greeted with a Happy Birthday by the servers. I started with the Maryland softshell crab corn chowder - delicious. It was filling, but I ate every bite, incredible flavors. My husband and I split the New York Strip Steak and we... More

Beautiful restaurant a little off the beaten track and located in the Financial district which lends itself to being a little more corporate and older in it's crowd. Very stylishly designed - a good place to be. Food was beautifully presented - I ordered the duck which was good but not outstanding. The highlight of the meal was definitely the... More

My husband and I had eaten at the sister restaurant, Boulevard, but not here. We came with certain expectations and except for one of our appetisers, they were met. Let me digress, the raw fish appetiser was fabulous. The pasta with squid ink and Spanish octopus was not great. The octopus was tough. Our mains of salmon and duck were... More

We had our anniversary dinner there and thoroughly enjoyed the attention that we got. The food was outstanding and the wine selection is huge and also excellent. Would definitely return to this restaurant again. The interior is modern and spacious, and it was a very relaxing atmosphere. Also has an excellent bar.

Our party of four had a wonderful dinner experience! We asked for a got a booth instead of a table and chairs. Dinner was pricey, however, so a sampling at the bar's happy hour might be a good introduction.

My husband and I walked to the restaurant from our hotel on the Embarcadero for a late dinner. The bar was mostly full but the restaurant was quite empty. We decided to sit at a table in the bar area. We shared a variety of plates: Tuna poke rice bowl, Steak frites, and the Spanish octopus. Everything was delicious! Our... More

We enjoyed dinner on a blustery night in SF. I had the much Yelped about pork chop. Yes, it was good, yes it was juicy, but to me there was just something off-putting about the texture, a bit slimy actually. W had the vegetarian choice, the Squash Blossom.

I went there for drinks. The place is very fancy and had great cocktails. They seem to have a good happy hour option as well. Recommended to go with coworkers or even for a date.

This sister Restaraunt to Boulevard has great service and also one of the best French fries. Thick cut and served to two sauces :ketchup and mustard great accompaniment with drinks or their hamburgers. Both of these items are their pub menu. At dinner we shared the Little Gem salad which came with a chutney and sour creamy dressing along with... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
