Large choice of fresh and tasty bagels, lovely coffee. Great choice for a quick and easy breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

This is a bagel place. It doesn't hold itself out as anything else. It's good but I'm not sure there's a lot you can do with a bagel except make sure it's fresh. Bagels were fresh and convenient

Stumbled on this little cafe by mistake. Delicious freshly toasted bagels. Even ordered seconds as they were so good. Coffee was fine too so it made a cheap breakfast option.

The place is unwelcoming. The bagels are ok. The guy who is prepares the sandwiches is unpleasant; almost rude. But you don't go there for the service. I guess it is convenient place for people leaving in the neighborhood. I have strong suspicion on the hygiene of the place. I will never go back there.

Most lunch places in the Embarcadero Center are a bit pricey, but not the Post Bagel. I asked for egg salad on a plain bagel. The woman took too fresh hard boiled eggs and made the sandwich fresh, toasted it and served me in a matter of a couple of minutes. It was the best egg salad sandwich I have... More

Friendly staff, large selection of bagels and ways to fix them. Egg, cheese and ham on a marinara cheese bagel is really good and is just what you need to start a day of walking and touring the city.

Since the reviews were impressive I thought I would try the pastry at this establishment. I was told to try the cronuts; however, they had run out of cronuts so I tried the croissant. Took it home and tried it cold and warmed in the oven. The texture and taste was disappointing. I would say Costcos croissants are a better... More

We ate here more than once while on vacation. It was good food and great for picking up a quick breakfast before we started our sightseeing. The bagels were fresh and had several choices on the menu of sandwiches.

Staying in Financial District

Neighborhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
