Most lunch places in the Embarcadero Center are a bit pricey, but not the Post Bagel. I asked for egg salad on a plain bagel. The woman took too fresh hard boiled eggs and made the sandwich fresh, toasted it and served me in a matter of a couple of minutes. It was the best egg salad sandwich I have... More

Friendly staff, large selection of bagels and ways to fix them. Egg, cheese and ham on a marinara cheese bagel is really good and is just what you need to start a day of walking and touring the city.

Since the reviews were impressive I thought I would try the pastry at this establishment. I was told to try the cronuts; however, they had run out of cronuts so I tried the croissant. Took it home and tried it cold and warmed in the oven. The texture and taste was disappointing. I would say Costcos croissants are a better... More

We ate here more than once while on vacation. It was good food and great for picking up a quick breakfast before we started our sightseeing. The bagels were fresh and had several choices on the menu of sandwiches.

Having travelled here with my fiancé, I wandered out from working at my hotel to grab a bite while she is out impressing the world at an international medical conference. Having read around and preferably after somewhere relatively affordable, I stumbled onto this little place just away from the Chinatown gate. What it turned out to be was a well-priced,... More

It is a good place for a quick Breakfast to go but sometimes you need to wait since there were only 2 of them working on Oct 31st around 11 am. Don't get me wrong but they served a very good bagel with all the frills for your breakfast needs. Unfortunately, I didn't like the Bubble Tea I ordered since... More

Excellent Bagels and Sandwiches if you are in a hurry. There are many types of bagels offered and choices of filling you can have with your bagels too.

Great place to get a quick hot or cold sandwich or just coffee. Plus they have free Wi-Fi. The service is good and food selection is great. There are table inside and outside. I purchased their lunch special. Sandwich, Chips & Soda for $7.00. There are a few other places next to Posh Bagel that charge about $12.00 for the... More

Staying in Financial District

Neighborhood Profile
Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s version of Wall Street. The rush of business people make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of historic and contemporary architecture, including the iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours, bars and restaurants quickly fill up with happy hour revelers. Stocks aren’t the only kind of market being followed, the Ferry Building Marketplace on the Embarcadero is a gourmet food emporium and farmers market that will satisfy anyone working up an appetite.
