The menu offered a variey of items appropriate for a pre-party before the Giants game. Our group of four waded through several appetizers. The crispy Brussels sprouts chips and grilled Gulf shrimp (with "hot & boozy cocktail sauce") stood out. Two of my friends enjoyed the Marlowe burgers. I kinda wished I had ordered one. So sad. Of course, high-falutin Dennis whinged a few times, "this is not as good as Momo, that is not as good as Momo, . . . ." But what does Dennis know? Nuttin'. Though the prices were a bit high, three of us (not named Dennis) agreed to make Marlowe our pre-game spot. Check it out. -- workingman's gourmand

Looking for a nice table for brunch not far from Chase Center, we stopped at this address. Brunch card was not offered on Thursday, too bad. However, we were able to eat simple but good food in a rather pleasant setting without superfluous. Welcomed and served by a smiling and attentive staff.

We stopped for a late lunch& early dinner on Saturday, the menu was short... since dinner starts at 17:00. We all had hamburgers and we all loved them. Great horseradish aioli with a twist. Carrot cake was nice. Cocktails & beer as well. Service was excellent.

Burrata was good but the bread that came with it was burnt. My pork chop was dry and burnt and drenched in a too sweet sauce. Bread pudding dessert was more like chopped up pieces of bread with some chopped apples on top. Very disappointing.

This place was on my list for a long time. Finally came in for lunch. Make a reservation, it gets crowded. The space has plenty of lights coming through the windows, very bistro-like decore. I started with bubbles and oysters. They only had one option of shellfish, I would have preferred some options. For lunch I had the steak tartare and a salad. The tartare was good, the toast was too salty. It was a light and satisfying lunch. I’ll have to try one of their sandwiches/burger next time. The rum punch cocktail was good, not too sweet just right.

Marlowe is located on Brannan Street where there’s a lot of foot traffic because of the businesses nearby. Had dinner there on a Thursday and the place was getting packed at around 6. Anyway, we ordered the baked oysters, octopus and squid salad and the Alaskan salmon . All three dishes were really good.

We were very impressed with Bothe the location and ambiance - charming. The menu was great- so many entrees that we were impressed with...Great service...top flight. We all had various hearty burgers that were superb. Our Drinks were terrific! The waiter was attentive and unassuming...perfect. Mere steps away from the ballpark...actually considered going back to Marlow post game!

Kismet! Our parking garage for the big Baseball Game was kitty corner from Marlowe and we decided to gamble and have dinner - pre game. How bad could it be? We were impressed the minute we walked in - belly-upped to the bar...oh,man....The bar is so cool...the bartender was a true Mixologist! We were enamored and very happy quaffing couple of drinks pre- dinner. We thought the bar was impressive...as we were seated for dinner and perused the menu - we knew we were in for an experience. Let me say - we happily missed an inning or two as we were so taken with the Scallops, the Grilled Ribeye...All of us happy diners cannot wait to return.

Burger was tasty, fries almost inedible with them being so salty. Not sure how I feel value wise. $75 for burger and fries, tempura vegetables and an additional fries with a coke..

Marlowe is a restaurant with a cozy glamorous vibe. We went in for dinner, the place was full but you don’t feel overcrowded. The service was also prompt for a full house. I starts my drink with Breakfast old fashioned, of course it’s a spirit forward choice but it was done just right. A nice touch to the classic. Then later we went for a bottle of red which is priced very reasonably. For food I had the Marlowe burger and brown butter Brussels sprouts for sides. The burger is excellent, the fries was also very nice with it. My friend ordered a steak which received very good comments as well. Overall great place, great food, friendly services.

I went to Marlowe for its high profile burger which did not disappoint. The secret to the Marlowe burger is 20% ground lamb plus a secret horseradish sauce. It comes with shredded lettuce ,cheddar cheese and bacon -absolutely delicious.Have the Brussels sprout chips to start, select a couple of glasses from an extensive wine list and finish with coffee and their peanut butter bites served in a jar. Great atmosphere and staff.
