We found this gem a few years ago and will only get our take-out from them, as well as eating in when we can. Great food and service and good portions. I'm from England and I and my expat friends believe this is the most...like the curry houses there that we've been able to find (and it's been a pretty exhaustive search!)More

Our final night in San Francisco and again we went with the option of a walk in option around Union Squire. It was not really busy but I was told by another customer that it had been. The food was nice and the meal size...was big and the service was OK with a few language problems but we speak Aussie English. We would go back but we also have just as nice Indian options in our home townMore

Don’t ask for hot!! Food cooked & served quickly, good flavour but you cannot compare heat guides to the UK The medium heat meal is vindaloo hot & the hot meal is phall hot 😂

OK, it as NYE and it was busy so it took a while to get seated without a reservation. That's on us so I have discounted that from the review. The food was fine and tasty enough but didn't quite reach the peak of, 'Oh,...Wow!'. Give that there are lots of choices in the area, I'd probably try a different restaurant next time just for variety.More

Little Delhi (83 Elly St SAN Francisco) ticks all the boxes if you are looking for some good food in the city. The service is efficient and the price is reasonable. We enjoyed it and would recommend it.

We always try to have a curry everywhere we go in the world. Picked this restaurant due to location and reviews. It was quiet but the service and food were lovely - friendly with some banter. We had tandoori platter and a main course each....All were spiced to our request. All in all great foodMore

We ate dinner here recently. We shared vegetable pakora and Chili chicken starters. To be honest one starter would have been enough, but both were great. Our mains were chicken curry, lamb rogan josh, pilau rice with peas and naan. We couldn’t finish them but...they were excellent. I had a very reasonably priced NZ Sauvignon Blanc and my husband Indian lager. Our meal in total was less than $75 and well worth it.More

Enjoyed the food very much, the servings portions were very generous to include the spice. Was not aware that rice is ordered separately. All other restaurants I've visited it came with the meal. What I did not like was that I used grub hub and...the restaurant did not include utensils or dinner wear. Maybe that was typical, even if you get it delivered to a hotel. Called the restaurant and after a little back and forth, they decided to give me rice, utensils and paper plates - I just had to go there to pick it up, so much for grub hub. At the end of the day Little Delhi made it right, so they earned the 4th star.More

I never had to and walked in. You can making a booking to reserve a table (especially if going as a large party), but I was a walk-in with plenty of tables available on last visit.

Hi there!!! Yes all Indian foods are normally considered gluten since the only real item they use on the table that contains gluten are the "roti" like a large tortilla. Other than that the food is amazing
