Love this place. It's a bar. It's not a café, it's not a bistro, it's not a tavern. It's a bar. A million beers on tap, excellent and friendly bar tenders and lots of TVs. Love the character - an old, slightly dark (as in light, not as in weirdness) place to enjoy a beer.

Plenty of variety of beer on tap, lots of craft beer selections. But this is just your average and typical American bar. Lots of stuff to see on the walls.

All was well until my wife went to order another glass of wine for herself and half a beer for me, I had already drunk two pints and now only wanted a half so the barman asked her for $16 which she paid in cash as its a cash only bar but then realised that the same glass of wine... More

I've made a point to come here every time I'm in San Francisco. Great Happy Hour drink prices and oysters on-the-half-she'll are $1.00 each all day! Delicious! Great atmosphere.

The title says it all, but this place is also sentimental for my wife and I as we used to come here a lot, and on the day that we got engaged, when I surprised her on the Golden Gate Bridge, we went here early in our day of exploring the city. This is a very cozy bar, and a... More

Didn't see it at first en entered a bit by coincidence. Incredible choice of beers and friendly staff that guided me in my beer discoveries. The place was very quiet but it was also low season. Will definitively come back when in SFO.

We stopped in for a beer after a long day of travel. This place is great. The staff was very friendly and took great care of us. They have a huge selection of draft beer, something for everyone. The inside of the bar has so much character, it's a definite must see.

This place is amazing! He is cash only but he has TONS of taps of great beer and it is such a comfortable bar that always has a game on. If there is anywhere that you are going to go to get a drink in SF, I reccommend this place.

My girlfriend and I stopped here on a Saturday afternoon for a casual drink during a weekend getaway. Service was average and we both ordered a draft from their list of over 50 available. The bar is cash only so beware of that before you order up. ATM is available if you forget your cash or drink more than you... More

We were visiting San Francisco and wandering around Fisherman's Wharf so we popped in for a drink before dinner. The selection of craft beers was insane - so many to choose from!! Not being familiar with many of them, we just took a gamble and tried a few random ones. They were pretty good but more details about the beers... More
