We went to Cultivar on a busy Friday night after seeing a movie at the Presidio Theatre (which is right across the street). We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Highly recommend that you get a reservation if you want to go because it...was very busy the night we went. We appreciated the serious attention to checking vaccination status so if that is not your thing, be warned. Our server was fantastic. I wish I remembered her name to call it out publicly. The food was really good. I had the grilled cheese and tomato soup and it was memorable. I will crave it and be back soon. My husband had the chicken in morel sauce. Perfectly cooked and incredibly tasty. They sell Cultivar branded wines at a decent price. The vibe is very fun although pretty noisy. It didn't bother us, in fact, we liked it. Good to be out and about with humanity again. We highly recommend this spot. Great date night.More

The food here is good which is a bit unusual for wine bars in San Francisco. The wine of course is expensive but all wine bars are and it’s no more than any other place on Chestnut Street.

My husband and I just happened to walk by here after a mixup with a restaurant in which we had a reservation. We were so happy we decided to give them a try. My husband and I tried 3 different wines and I wound up...taking a bottle home. The small plates were all excellent and paired well with the wine. The service was stellar for the setting and the waiter was able to give us good wine recommendations. We had the bread service, heirloom tomatoes, grilled cheese, and tomato soup. All were wonderful. We strongly suggest this restaurant.More

Dinner with our yacht club on a Saturday night at 7. Easy walking distance in a nice neighborhood from the Marina Green yacht harbor. Reservations are a must, which we had. Interesting wine list including a very good dry Muscat. All 14 of us were...delighted with our entrees. Winter salad with grilled prawns was delicious as was the pork loin. Every table inside and out was filled which may have accounted for the slow service. We had to flag a waiter down to take our order and again to get our bills. Entrees came out at very different rates so that some of us were finished by the time other people received their entrees.More

Hip, chic and vibrant. Great food and delicious wines. Had the chicken and mushroom paired with an oaknoll cab franc. Chicken was a bit soupy but great flavor profile. Loved every bite. Jill had the Caesar with shrimp and truffles. Deep umami flavors and pairs...nicely with the oaknoll chard.More

I took my boys here for brunch this weekend and it was incredible. My 12 and 13 year old loved it. They can be picky. Sitting outside was so nice and enjoyable. We started with hummus and crostini. And some sliced baguette with lime infused...olive oil. Then huevos rancheros, Pork belly sandwich and a BLT. I highly recommend Cultivar for couples or families or even groups. The outside patio is ideal. Their wine selection can't be beat.More

We were fortunate to get a patio table on a Friday evening during happy hour. It was apparent that only one server was handling the crowd, but the server, Oceano, did a great job. We ordered several plates for sharing and house wines. It was...great food in a comfortable atmosphere with very good wine. What more could you want?More

Lovely wine bar with back garden, complete with fireplace for a cooler evening outdoors. The baby stroller fit, too! Impressive aele cc room of wines and flights - and, though we didn't eat, the menu looked substantial enough to go back!

Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful

the Marina. Originally the location for the
