Friendly service, atmosphere and tasty breakfast made for a great start to the day! The biscuits were delicious, the hash comforting and filling and the omelet was perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients. A hearty good tasting breakfast that i can easily and readily recommend

The food is the real deal. The service impeccable and you can't beat the price. If you find yourself in the part of Bagdad by the Bay this place is a must dine for food with real soul.

The food was excellent. Had an amazing chocolate beignet and a delicious fried oyster/bacon/green onion scramble with tasty home fries and a great homemade cream biscuit. Service was very good, and portions were large.

A local San Franciscan heavily recommended Brenda's for brunch, and for good reason. We expected a long queue based on online reviews but were pleasantly surprised to be seated within 10 minutes. The food was absolutely outstanding (make sure you order the flight of beignets!) and the service was very friendly. A definite venue to return to!

We loved the ambiance. New Orleans style breakfast. The portions are very big. Sharing is an option. Each one of us loved what we ate. 9 am is perfect for not waiting in the line. Other wise they take you in latest 20 minutes.

Excellent food and service. We opted to go for brunch and the restaurant was already busy but our wait for a table was short - you may need to book. Well worth a visit if you are in San Francisco.

Went for lunch which we saw the next day that it can be busy. They have some items for in a hurry, on the go folks. We got lucky and were seated right away. Great staff, very friendly and quick. Red beans and rice are recommended. Like it so much I wanted to get take out the next day too... More

Ah Welp Yelp!!! I fell for the hype. Waited over an hour for a party of 7. With a name like Brenda's Soul Food, I was expecting this to be a black owned establishment. Nope. Not a big deal, but a little surprised. It was a cute spot located in the Tenderloin. Some tried to talk us out of walking... More

We had the beignet flight, seafood Benedict, two eggs and bacon. We left there so full and couldn't eat a quarter of the amount of food we ordered.
