Every time we eat here, the food is delicious and we discover something new on the menu. All the ceviches are excellent and use fresh fish. The empanadas are moist and flaky. Every fish entree that we have tried was exceptional. The service is terrific and you are checked on constantly to make sure everything is ok. The patio is... More

I had 1 hour to go in San Francisco before I headed to the airport - La Mar was the obvious choice for lunch. I had the Catch of the day ceviche & the vege croquettes... both were fantastic. the ceviche was beautifully presented & tasted so fresh. The sun on the water outside was great & the atmosphere on... This place comes up a lot for happy hours due to the location on the water and proximity to a lot of public transportation. The food is good, and the cocktails are usually above average. The price tag is a little stiff, but for a special occasion or if you're able to hit the happy hour, its relatively reasonable.

Went with my girlfriend on a weekend, and it was perfect. The food is delicious and the staff is really good. The tuna cebiche, the pisco sour and the empanadas are 100% recommended

I don't even like seafood but the cebiches are a must try! You really can't go wrong with the Nikei (i.e., tuna) which is incredibly flavorful! Also give the pisco a try, it reminded my husband and I of our trip to Chili! Oh and forget the plain, boring bread and butter you get at most places, here you get... More

We wanted to sit outside and got referred here, It is outside, but there's no view. We had 2 drinks...29.96, plus a tip. A little too pricey for us.

Lively place even on a Monday evening! Tells you about the place!! The cebiches are excellent especially the Nikei is an all time favourite. The chicken skewer was not great but the lamb was melt in the mouth and the halibut with the salsa was excellent. The warm potato chips are addictive. The bread pudding is the cherry on the... More

We had a phenomenal meal here sitting on the patio overlooking the bay. The cebiche appetizers were terrific. I loved the sampler so that we got to try three different dishes. My husband was Leary at first, but then I had a tough time getting my share. ;-). We also ordered the 1-1/2 to 2 lb halibut. This time I... More
