Staying directly opposite this cafe, opens at 0530 am and when you are on English time and craving a lovely cup of tea! This is the place! Staff were friendly , all drink and food were of excellent quality! Throughly enjoyed , we went every morning when staying at the Hollywood Roosevelt directly opposite!

We stopped for coffee before going on BART. This little shop was very nice, neat, clean and the staff were very friendly. We have never been to the coffee bean before but I can tell you we will be back

Not exactly busy but waited ages for 2 drinks. Coffee better than the 'well know chain' with a green logo with a face so that's a plus point.

We have been there a few times and have gotten some irregular service. We always order some pastry and coffee. The coffee is always right, but the pastry is sometimes what we ordered and at other times we have to go back and get them to give us what we asked for.

Our hotel's breakfast options are a superb but pricey breakfast buffet or a coffee shop that leaves much to be desired... SO, a few steps away I have found a great option each morning. Good tea, good food, nice people.

I cannot get a $1.99 cup of coffee in some of the worst cities in America let alone San Francisco. Staff was friendly, quick and answered a couple of questions I had about Yerba Buena Garden. Also, I really enjoyed the coffee.

The service was friendly and the coffee and croissant were ok. The location is convenient and they have outside seating. Nothing spectacular but an ok alternative. I'm definitely a Peets girl when I am in the West coast.

It's an ok place for a quick coffee (very limited seating) but pastries, sandwiches etc. need improvement in terms of variety and taste!

They did not mess around. In and out service just like it should be. Well, stocked and clean. Roomy for SF.

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
