First off, this was a lovely eating experience. The California organic food was lovely and the staff helpful. The ambience was noisy, as you might expect in a small cafe, but not overbearingly so. The only downside was how untidy it was, from the unclean tables to the filthy, shared bathroom facilities. Sort these out and you have a winner.

Have been dying to try this place for years but have been unwilling to wait an hour plus for brunch. Being a Tuesday I thought why not. After we got seated nothing. When I found someone one I got a very rude response. Had to ask for ice. We all enjoyed our meal but will not return. Too many restaurants... More

This is quite a quirky place. You start by putting your name on a sheet of paper hanging by the door, as it always seems to be full. The breakfast was excellent and although it was extremely busy the service was also excellent. Well worth a visit.

Inspiring and tasty breakfast spot. Since Boogaloos was closed I've been looking for a new breakfast joint in the Mission. This is it. Different vibe, more Santa Monica than San Francisco. But the food is excellent. Quiche is light and flaky and full of veggies and cheese. Scrambled eggs are very good. Baked goods look scrumptious. The coffee is a... More

This spot was recommended by our son who lives in the area. Went on a Saturday morning and there was a waiting list to get in; but not too bad, around 20 minutes or so. Service was prompt and friendly. Menu had a nice selection of eggs benedict varieties and egg dishes. Potatoes served with the eggs were great. I... More

I went for brunch yesterday and was delighted with every aspect of the experience. The wait was ~30 minutes for a table, but benches were provided outside. The food was delicious, though I was not enamored of the addition of pimento into the sausage gravy for the biscuit. The biscuit should not be missed: very buttery. The bacon is cooked... More

We had our breakfast and today our lunch. This place is worth visiting! Via City2Go we found it and otherwise we wouldn't be there as you don't easily walk by.

My wife and I loved the brunch here. So much so that we ate here 2 of the 4 days we were in the San Fran area. Great little spot with a good vibe. Food is incredible. If you like bacon, and let's be serious...who doesn't, you have to order a side of it here. You will not be disappointed.... More

There were six of us and having eaten brunch here we wanted to give the dinner service a try. We shared the warm baked goat cheese and the special flat bread to start which were marvelous! I ordered the rabbit pot pie which was tasty however with the puff pastry and creamy filling, the delicate rabbit flavors were lost. My... More

Friendly service, great pastries and cup of tea however it is worth noting that breakfast isn't started until 9am which isn't stated very clearly which is a shame

Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighborhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the locals do by heading to Mission Dolores Park, buy some ice cream, and savor one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the country.
