Anytime we are in San Francisco we always make sure to come here for lunch. My only complaint is they don't have free refills on drinks. But other than that everyone is always very nice and the food is delicious!

I have been here three times, the most recent today. The food is Japanese comfort food and overall I will continue to dine here. The reason for the 3 rating, is because once my okonomiyaki was burnt. Today it was delicious. Also, this is not an elegant and upscale restaurant, but I will return. The tempura was great.

Kind of a middle of the road japanese restaurant in the mall. nothing terribly great or terribly bad. the bento box portions were a bit smaller than the regular plates. I would recommend the pork katsu. Restaurant was a bit coz probably seats no more than 30 people.

One of many restaurants in Japan Town. Happy I ate here. Great food. I loved my Avocado rolls and the Miso soup. Had 2 bowls! (I'm a vegetarian) Liked the Wasabe as well. Of course...how can you not :-) It cleared me out! YUM! Would go back :-)

I was waiting to see a film and I remembered this restaurant. I purchased the California sushi but with a twist salmon and not tuna. What a pleasant surprise. They are now doing seasonal sushi. It was very flavorful and the salmon was spicy with a hint of pepper. Price is competitive. Mostly locals eat there and they are keeping... More

This was a fine place for a lunch-nice variety on the menu. Surprisingly their deluxe salad was quite good with egg, crabmeat, avocado and greens. Good miso dressing that they sell by the bottle. Other diners had a noodle bowl and sashimi-good, but they felt just average.

We enjoyed our meal. Menu has variety that includes other Japanese selections beside sushi. Prices seemed a little high.

Barely ok food a little sloppily prepared and quite bland. Chicken teryaki was fatty and the sauce tasted like it came from a large Sysco vat. The place is cramped, dirty, and cheesy as well. Not a great experience at all. There's a whole mess of food places nearby in the same mall, go there instead!!

Food portions are fairly decent and tasty. Prices are okay and atmosphere is like being in a Japanese diner, so kinda cosy. Rated service poor because it was slow at first, but was quite attentive in the end. I'd give it 2.5 for service if available. Would come back again.
