We had dinner here and the whole thing wasn't bad, but pretty underwhelming. It's italian food served up tapas style and you know what that means: $$$! Nothing was incredibly amazing. I mean it was good italian food but nothing you can't find around town for a third of the price.

Really tasty Italian food. The menu changes often and the booze is strong and plentiful. Crisp service.

The food is good: I took some mushroom tartines and the spicy pepperoni pizza (good but not amazing). We were on the terrace which is much more quiet ! But a bit cold The staff is very nice and friendly !

This is a very nice place with goo variety of Italian food. Very lively place with good bar and cocktails. We ordered several plates for the 4 of us and shared them family style. This was a good way to try some different dishes. The Osso Bucco risotto and the gnocchi were fabulous.

This place is phenomenal! We came here for a work team dinner and were all very impressed with the quality of service, food and price. When planning a dinner for a large group, many SF restaurants can't or won't accommodate; those that do will ask you for an exorbitant per person deposit etc. Beretta had a very modest request--it was... This lively restaurant is the perfect spot to go if you want to sidle up to the bar, for cocktails and appetizers! It can be on the loud side, and you may have to wait for a while, but you can go to another bar down the street, and they will call your cell phone when your table is ready.... More

We had the best night at Beretta. It was a Sunday night and we had not booked a table as we didnt realise how popular it would be on a Sunday night. We were wrong, the place was jumping, packed to the ceilings with people and it took us a while to actually get a table so we stood at... More

We had a short stop at this great place and we had great drinks and food. Lots of cocktails. Probably one of the best bars in town and service is just epic! You have to try pizzas and the octopus entree. Very friendly environment in the Mission. Great to hang out with friends or family.

Stopped with my wife on our honeymoon. Had the Caesar salad, meatballs and fried cauliflower. Everything was delicious. Didn't have the pizza but it looked amazing.

One of the early pioneers in San Francisco's popular Mission District neighborhood at Valencia Street and 23rd, Beretta has been a long-time industry favorite since opening in 2008. Dark, sexy and evocative, Beretta's restaurant and bar are where to enjoy inventive cocktails, thin crust pizzas, and contemporary Italian comfort food that is always fresh, organic and seasonal whenever possible, and sourced from local farmers. Adored by the San Francisco community and visitors to our city, we offer something for everyone, and carry many vegetarian and vegan options. Beretta is great for both intimate dining experiences and large group affairs, (our cozy downstairs room is perfect for groups of 6 or more), and we are open for dinner and late-night dining, 7 days a week, with brunch served on weekends.
