Today was our third FABULOUS visit to Hot Cookie. The range and variety of the BEST COOKIES ever is vast.
And, the Name "Hot Cookie" fails to aptly describe this place. It should be: "The Best Ever Cookie Store ever with Dozens of Divine Dessert Cookies."
We are going to skip ol Pumpkin Pie this Thanksgiving and will bring a huge box of Hot Cookies!

Went to a premiere at the Castro Theatre and glad we stopped here. There is a great assortment of flavors (and designs) for the cookies. Tried a snickerdoodle and a Granny (oatmeal raisin) and both were delicious. Price was very reasonable. There was a line out the door to make selections.

Our favorite places for cookies in SF! The story is tiny, you just walk-in, order and leave but its soooo worth it. Cookies are always fresh and the staff is always so nice. We went 3 times this trip.

I was not impressed with these cookies. I like a softer, home-baked kind of cookie and these were crunchy, hard and lacked in flavor. I got the Basic Bitch (chocolate chip) and the Fudge Packer (chocolate cookie with chocolate chunks). The chocolate chip was okay. The chocolate fudge cookie I threw away because it was too crunchy and had no flavor. My hubby got the Snickerdoodle and the peanut butter chocolate chip. He said both were just okay. His peanut butter cookie felt a little warm still so I think that was the freshest of the bunch and he liked that one best. All in all it was expensive for a few cookies that I wouldn’t even pay a $1 for now that I know what they taste like. Go somewhere else to get your sweet tooth fix.

The shop is very small. Maybe 4 folks can be in at one time. Cookies are large and delicious.
Some of the creations are quit sexuality suggestive. Kinda funny.

There was a long line, even late at night, but it was DEFINITELY worth it. The cookies were huge, soft, warm and delicious. Love the people working there and the ambiance. A must try.

We stopped by and grabbed four cookies which were HUGE! Some of the names made me giggle! Ended up eating them for desert after dinner with a nice glass of wine.

The cookies here are good but not great. The service we received was outstanding! The server was very friendly and answered all of our questions about each cookie. This place is not your average cookie bakery so if you're easily offended or have small kids, you may want to stop elsewhere for a sweet treat.

Is you are visiting the Castro, in San Francisco, is a sin not buy a cookies from here. Good stuff, friendly, diversity of flavors, you see that is good, because lots of people line outside of the building. Highly recommended.
