The food was really nice. I ate at the bar and the bartenders are creating nice cocktails. All the personnel was friendly and helpful.

Very good place to try modern Mexican food at a resalable price in the fun area of Mission district. Drinks are also pretty good, and the decoration is fun/unusual.

I stumbled upon this restaurant while strolling the interesting Valencia street scene. It's essentially a Mexican themed eatery with an open kitchen and cocktail bar. It's very cheery inside and the decorations are playful and creative. One wall is decorated completely with Mexican Lottery tickets...More

When I eat in a place like this, I am reminded how much I adore true Mexican cuisine. One of the best meals I have had. And you cannot go wrong. Sipping the Sangria and perusing the menu I just threw up my arms in...More

I visited Lolo's recently with my group of girlfriends for Sunday Brunch. It was one of San Francisco's few brunch spot that took reservations so I was a little concerned it would not be that great of a spot. I was pleasantly surprised to see...More

The guacamole is to die for; quesadillas are fantastic; even the steak is great, with an interesting melange of spices; and the rhythmic shake-shake of the bartender's drink mixing adds to the music of the place. Good beers as well.

The place has a great atmosphere and all the dishes are really great. The dishes are more like tapas, small portions, so expect to get 2-3 per person. The dishes range from classical to new creation, and all were great! One point is that the...More

A wonderful fresh take on Mexican food - almost tapas but not quite, with all the colors and energy of Mexico. It's very lively, and tables are squished so close together it's almost family style dining. Be warned that serving sizes are quite large -...More

We only have MC and Visa and used one of those to pay. I'm not sure about AMEX as some merchants object to the high merchant fee. There are a lot of banks and ATM's in the area as well.

Lolo was designed by Lorena Zertuche using many recycled materials. It was our attempt to create an environment that is fun and without pretention. We strive to take common ideas from all around the world and give them a playful and delicious new perspective. We have a lot of fun bringing together the culinary traditions of Mexico and Turkey.
