This is not a "go out of your way" kind of place. It is, however, a good pit-stop if you happen to be in Potrero Hill. It is a small walk-in sandwich shop that is open for breakfast sandwiches (though I mostly have had bagels and cream cheese--big plus: they have gluten free bagels available). Nice staff, whether you get... More

Just off the plane from NZ and 1st stop is Potrero Hill where for $5.50 Hazels' 1/2 sandwich, full of goodness, is one of the best quick food feeds around...and being next to a Potrero Hill's prime cafe, you can grab a flat white SF style, bring your takeaway bag lunch and enjoy both while catchin up on wifi --... I stopped here twice and will definitely be back. The vegetarian chili was very good and the grilled vegetarian sandwich was excellent. I also had the cold vegetarian sandwich and it was good. Great little spot to pick up a bite.

This truly small "hole-in-the-wall" kitchen and take-out spot is one-of-a-kind. Hazel's Kitchen has been serving up sandwiches since the 90's and doing a great job of it. Plus, hey've expanded into breakfast and other delectable menu items. And, the best part the price for what you get makes one think enormous value --generous portions and all most tasty.

Nice small spot nearby my neighborhood run by friendly people always kind and smiling! I had an easy oatmeal with strawberry and fresh fruit and my girlfriend a fantastic bagle with tomatoes and salmon: tasty, fresh, amazing. So, nice spot for an easy breakfast!

What An amazing little take out restaurant. It is clean, adorable, friendly with food that keeps you wanting more! The menu has breakfast, sandwiches, salads, melts, burritos, and more. They aren't JUST sandwiches, the combinations on each sandwich is wonderful and so flavorful. It makes you wanting more. It is take out, but there are tables outside, benches and you... More

We visited Plow, but they were closed.. About a block up the street is Hazel's. This isn't fine cuisine with white tablecloths, but it was quality food prepared well. There is no dining room to speak of, but the coffee place next door has some tables; we bought coffee and settled in. The fare tends towards breakfast sandwiches and burritos.... More
