We were looking for a nice play to eat at the last minute that wasn't a tourist trap. We ended up at pier 39 which is a touristy area. Checked out review online and found this to be the best rated. To our present surprise, we had Sean as our waiter at the bar. His drinks were amazing, recommendations and... More

The restaurant is on the second level on Pier 39 having breathtaking views of the water and the nearby ferries. We had garlic bread before the meal and it was tasty. We shared a surf and turf and the lobster was very moist and flavorful; the same can be said for the steak. Our dessert was an Apple Crisp with... More

We had a group dinner here and generally enjoyed ourselves. The food was very good and the views over the Barbour are lovely especially on a nice evening. Service was rather spotty at first but got better.

Fog Harbor is a great restaurant with excellent views of the bay. One of my favorite places in San Francisco. Great food and bread and great bartenders who are friendly and always willing to serve you. Love this place.

We went for a quick lunch on Pier 39 but the menu was so outstanding we made it our main meal. Crab was in season so we had Crab and Avocado Caesar Salads and clam chowder. This place is not cheap but, hey, it's touristy and San Fran so... But the food was excellent AND the crab portions were beyond... More

For a heavy tourist area, food was better than expected. The price, however, was consistent with touristy areas. A better than average value. The blue cheese garlic bread was yummy and the view was fab!

We visited here for a special birthday. The views are spectacular from the restaurant. The waiter was very attentive and helpful. The food selection was very good and I can honestly say it was the freshest and tastiest seafood we had while in San Francisco. This is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area

yum! what else could i say. the seafood is really good. i got a fried combo, definitely not the healthiest choice but the most delicious maybe. also the view is great, with a view of alcatraz and the bay. definitely a place for well behavior and being formal but a great place to eat.

I went with a party of 9, while on vacation. Everyone ordered different dishes and we loved the food. We are from the Boston area where lobster is always fresh, and my sister in law said her lobster tail was the best she ever had. During crab season they have a whole menu devoted to crab dishes. It's a little... More
