There are many options on Pier 39 and we chose Fog Harbor based on the reviews. It did not disappoint. The view, the service, everything was top notch! My husband had the fish and chips (generous three piece portion) and I had the blackened chicken. They both were very good. We were seated with a view of the bay and... More

I was a little nervous about it being at Pier 39 as I did not want a tourist trap. But we got multiple recommendations, and we REALLY liked the fact that they only serve sustainably sourced seafood. No regrets. It was fantastic! Nice atmosphere, right on the water, and we had a wonderful meal. Fully recommend.

We had a great dinner, great service and a view of fisherman's wharf. The fried shrimp dinner was fantastic and the clam chowder came out nice and hot and delicious. The cioppino my husband had was excellent as well. It was a fun atmosphere and the food came out super fast. I highly recommend it

I was excited to go to this restaurant on Pier 39 in San Francisco after reading about their fresh seafood, and spectacular views from the restaurant. I went the day after Valentine's Day. I expected to get their mixed grill after viewing a picture of it online. The waiter told me about a Salmon stuffed with crabmeat special, so I... More

We made a reservation well in advance of our trip to SF with a request for a window table. The host was obviously unaware of the request as we were taken to a table in the back, and then informed they only had one table where we could have possibly been seated, but would need to wait for who knows... Had a wonderful evening there and Mel our waiter was outstanding. However, we wanted to make reservations for Sunday night for 6 of us and were told by the manager that they only take walk ups and we were S.O.L. as far as reservations!! Well guess what, we're going elsewhere Sunday night. Sorry Mel, it's not your fault.

Located on Pier 39, the Fog Harbor Fish House could be considered a touristy spot. But, it's also known for outstanding food and a great view. It was a busy Wednesday night, and the service was a bit slow, but the food was great! The bread was warm, the grilled swordfish outstanding, shrimp pasta delicious, and clam chowder hot and... We came here after our Alcatraz tour on a rainy afternoon - oh it was soon good to have warm biscuits with delicious clam chowder! We also had Fish & chips (it was good!) and Cioppino (was a bit too much soup for me:) with lots of beer!
