We came here based on the reviews for lunch. The area, Pier 39, felt really "tourist trap" like - we had just arrived in San Fran about an hour earlier so I can neither confirm or deny if that is a fact. After driving around the city a bit after lunch we wished we had tried somewhere else. The food... More

My peers and I came to this restaurant after the first day of a training session. We were not disappointed. Wait staff was efficient and professional. I had the Mixed Grilled with salmon, swordfish and shrimp, citrus beurre blanc, sautéed vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes - but I asked to substitute the potatoes for spinach. I really enjoyed it! My... More

We stopped by Fog Harbor based on the reviews. While the food, service and ambiance were good we were a bit surprised by the price tag. It was almost $100 for the two of us for lunch. Not surprisingly the menu is predominantly seafood. Everything we had was good, but nothing was great. If I'm back in SF, I'd swing... More

I am not a fan of Shellfish, but friend had the crab & she really loved it-I tried a tiny piece & it was delish though I would not eat a full crab - leave that to shellfish lovers :) other friend had the chowder & that was fantastic as well. I had two appetizers: the baked oysters & the... More

I made an online reservation at Fog Harbor based upon the menu and the harbor location at Pier 39. They have a lovely outdoor reception area with a fireplace and benches. The hostess took us to a nice window table at the rear of the restaurant (tables at the rear have better water views). Our server was very friendly. My... More

The food here is incredible. The mussel fries were good to start. We also had crab and seafood platters. All of it was great. It was the best food we had in San Francisco for the price especially when you add the great views and ambiance. It is worth the price!!!

It was our first time here, and it was indeed a lunch to remember. The ambience was amazing; the food was phenomenal; and the service was spectacular! Susan, our waitress, was attentive, pleasant, and cheerful! She made our visit memorable. This is our favorite restaurant, and we will for sure come here every time we go to SF. Love this... More

We are a party of 15 when we dine in on a lunch time. They are pretty busy ( I guess all the time they are) and waiter is not that attentive to us. We waited a couple of times- to order our food, for our food to arrive. We had wine- we pour it ourselves rather than asking the... More

Expensive lunch but good food. I didn't want to go to any of the typical chain restaurants in this area. Nice view overlooking boats and water. Good waiter and clam chowder.

Reviews seem above average for this prime position restaurant on Fishermans wharf. However some clumsy service and majorly lacking in attention to detail has soured our experience. Our waitress was sweet, but water glasses were not filled, when asking for some additional lemon slices, nothing came. When food is delivered, the servers don't know who it's for. They just announce... More
