The owner was on the phone nearly the entire time we were there. As a result, it took much longer than it should have for us to get served. Also, their credit card machine uses the same phone line, so other customers were delayed before their orders could be processed. The ice cream was fine, the shop was cute, and... More

My husband and I always stop in to get some dessert after dinner. Cool little place full of collectible toys and treats!

If you a kid, going to this place is like a garden gnome bobbing for prostitutes in a Louisiana bayou, but for adults this place is a bit much.

Toyboat is just across the street from Green Apple Books with vintage toys, Pez dispensers and best of all, Double Rainbow Ice Cream. This adds up to a great late night stopping off place. If you are a bit hungry earlier in the day, they also provide a serviceable variety of soups and sandwiches. A San Francisco Legacy neighborhood icon.

It was hard not to be a greedy guts here- so we did t fight it! We indulged in the sundaes with a mix of "it's a goody" and coconut island (me) and rocky road and salted caramel (hubby) ice cream over White choc and hubby had hot fudge. Absolutely delicious. Would have given 5 stars had the staff been... More

We came in for some ice cream. Haven't visited for a while. Still weird vibe here. Seems that's the reason we stop coming here years ago. They sell other desserts like cake, pie, sandwiches, tea and coffee too. Also they sell some interesting collections of toys.

Toys everywhere, double rainbow ice cream and a mechanical horse. My children love it. Have a coffee, ice cream, cheesecake or pie. Sometimes the staff can be slow. Owner is a strong advocate for the businesses on clement street. My favorite ice cream is Three Twins but this is fine. Vintage toys.

This small cafe has lots going for it. Good drinks, ice cream, and eats; and a wide display of old games and toys, some (all?) of which are for sale. The service staff was friendly and helpful.

This place is about a mile from the house I was staying in during my trip to SF, so we decided to take an evening stroll and have dessert here. I love the decor, and the ice cream was really good. My only complaint is that it's pretty cramped inside.
