This is the best restaurant in Quincy Center. Maybe in Quincy in general. I live down the street so it's a short walk. The food is deliciously. I love this place. It's pretty small, but has two large tables to acclimate larger groups. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

We always sit at the bar. The staff are terrific. Food is consistently good. Mac and cheese, fried pickles, turkey sandwich to die for

We stayed in Quincy for a friend's getaway weekend in Boston. Found the Fat Cat and had a really good meal. The portions were huge, and despite the always busy tables, service was good and the food very tasty. It's a loud bustling place, so quiet conversation would be difficult. They also had a decent, if not overly large selection... More

Don't know why I did not know about this place. It is great, the food is good, service is good and the prices are great. The salmon I had was very good, but I am going back to have a bowl of mussels. Saw them going to another table and they looked wonderful

The Fat Cat was recommended to me by a Millennial who works for me and who is also a bit of a foodie. I will say that her recommendation was accurate. The food at the Fat Cat is reasonably priced. The portions are large and the menu has a comfort food feel. The Fat Cat was very busy and a... More

You must be really hungry. Good food, very reasonable price but tremendous portions! Good variety on menu from apps to entrees and sandwiched.

I won't be back. Burnt bread on the only thing cooked in this sandwich. Cold turkey, cold bacon, and cold sauce. Burned bread. My husband had the full rack of baby back ribs and you put the parmesan fries underneath? They were soaked in bbq sauce. Ugh.

First date location was good. There is a bar on one side of the very small space and 10 or so tables on the other side of the 3/4 wall separation. It feels intimate with the not too dark but not bright lighting. The wine menu is not extensive, but very reasonably priced good wines.(not the rot gut you occasionally... More

The Fat Cat was a great half way point for my friends, who live north of Quincy, and my husband and I who live south. We ordered two lobster Mac n cheese, a reg Mac n cheese, and a seafood fra dioblo...everything was Awesome! Huge portions, great service, quaint atmosphere...we had only one complaint. We showed up and put our... More

Great portions. I stayed away from their Mac & Cheese dish due to its size but I can tell that it is a crowd's favorite. Maybe next time... However, I savored the Salmon dish with Cauliflower Mash and grilled asparagus. I was with 2 girl friends on a late Sunday afternoon and we had a blast laughing and sampling their... More
