Cant say enough about this place. Always great food and fantastic service. Get the Mac and Cheese.. You may have to wait, its a small place with a huge following. But not a big deal, grab a drink there or next door at Sullivans (its a locals bar don't expect chilled fruit martinis). And Fat Cat is worth it... Great... More

This place is always pretty good. We went late for a late night snack and dessert. The service was very fast, very friendly, and the food was excellent. There aren't too many good spots in Quincy, but this is one of them

A place you'll likely have to wait in line for (demand exceeds the supply of eat-in space), it will certainly be worth the wait. Had the duck on a recent visit (which was excellent) and watched bowls of various mac & cheese pass by (multiple variations, all of which looked great). Have some lobster and crab nachos at the bar... More

Although it seems a little off the beaten path, this is worth every inch/minute out of your way. We have two adults and two boys (6&8) and our whole meal was only $40. The mac n cheese was absolutely to die for. And the service was friendly and fast to top it all off!

The fat cat is a really decent place for lunch. I've never heard of it before but business associates were coming into town and wanted to take me to lunch. Using my iPhone app I found this place and suggested we go there. I was not disappointed. My colleagues had the chicken wrap and I have the barbecue sandwich. I... More

Fat Cat is a little known secret to most of the people in the greater Boston area. It's well known in Quincy. Tip: this place can be very, very busy and wait time can easily be over an hour. Plan ahead. Parking situation is okay.

A very busy and popular place, wait for a table can be long but you can always grab a drink at the bar while you wait. Service is fast but not rushed so tables turn pretty quick. Good spot to grab a bite at the bar, bar staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable if you are dining alone.... More
