Punjab Cafe is unassuming from the outside, a step inside, calm and inviting, and most of all - transporting. Soothing tabla and sitar music, welcome you as waitstaff deliver authentic North Indian dishes and intriguing relishes in a variety of platters, ramekins, and shallow bowls with carved handles. Dining at Punjab Café is stepping in to our own kitchen as family and friends with service that is friendly and familiar. From blending each spice and dough mixture by hand to cooking each dish to order. We take great pride in providing our customers with authentic Punjabi cuisine, made from scratch and fresh premium ingredients .The restaurant is a lovely, inviting escape from contemporary pressures. And the owners, chefs and staff are devoted to their craft and in sharing the wonderful mysteries of Indian cuisine with the community.

I love Indian food. I think I am something of a connoisseur. I cook Indian food at home and have traveled to India and sampled the cuisine there. In my opinion, this is the best Indian restaurant in the Boston area. I have tried dozens of places, and this is the best in terms of the quality and freshness of... More

Food, well, sort of OK. Restaurant decor and cleanliness, less so. Service, worse. Just not a quality experience by any measure for us. Don't see all the excellent reviews based on our visit, maybe just caught the place on the wrong night.

This is perhaps the best Indian food restaurant in the quincy area. Weekend buffet is tasty with a lot of menu options

We are regulars at this family run restaurant and it never disappoints. The food is always as you ask for it, medium spicy gives the great taste but not so hot you can't enjoy. Very friendly, helpful staff who help explain how things are prepared and cooked. Nan bread is not to be missed.

We have eaten at a number of Indian restaurants in different states, we have never found one that is as good as Punjab Cafe. This has always remained our favorite. We have eaten here on different occasions visiting the east coast. It never disappoints. The rice is very fluffy. The naan bread is almost flaky not dense like in every... More

We had just moved to Quincy from South Boston, and were anxious to find a good Indian restaurant, as the one in Dorchester, which was recommended, was pretty pathetic... We used TripAdvisor to find Punjab, and it lived up to its #4 rating of restaurants in Quincy! We opted for the buffet, which was a very good value price wise.... More

We have been here with groups of friends and colleagues many times over the years and never been disappointed! The staff is always helpful and the food arrives quickly - even when they are crowded. I always forget the wonderful flavors and enjoy being reminded.

My Client and friend Toni wanted to taste Indian Food and He himself suggested this place for a dinner meeting. The place looks rather not so attractive from the outside, but the interiors are really well done and their Menu was having quite a variety. Me being a strict vegetarian, settled in for veg dishes, but Toni and my american... More
