I just like the place, the food....and the company. The soups are just awesome. Highly recommend. Nice setting and ambiance.

I went there with my half-Asian family at least three times, and the feedback is consistent: nice place (maybe table are a bit close to each others), very friendly service (host& waitpersons), very good food at extremely reasonable prices. Tip for management: make a small investment to upgrade the outside area. It has potential but now it looks a bit... More

As the name say"Shabu" that's what they mainly serve. Service and decor was great for a tiny place. Very well used of the space. Small but doesn't feel claustrophobic at all. The food on the other hand was not great. Took the advice of the waitress on what broth to get and oh boy was I disappointed!! Not great at... More

I went to Shabu and sat at the counter. Our server was very friendly and helpful. I am vegan and she explained what I could eat and that it was possible to replace pork stock with veg stock making a good few of the broths suitable for veggies. She also gave us tips on traditional was of eating the hot... More

My wife and I and older girls went to Shabu because we've been wanting to try a true "hotpot" restaurant and there is a serious lack of them anywhere near southern NH. In this case, the drive was worth it! We were seated at a small 4-person table with a griddle in the center of it -- yes there are... More

This is the kind of place you almost hate to write about. It's clearly a local gem and will hopefully stay that way. To get this out of the way, the sound level and the rather drab ambiance are the ONLY reasons for 4 out of 5 stars and they are quickly forgotten. The food is delicious, fun, varied as... More

Great food, nice atmosphere, fantastic service! Been my favorite since it's opening in 2008. A must try!

I found this restaurant on Groupon and decided to give it a try. The service was very good - attentive and quick. The food was decent but definitely nothing to brag about. The place is really small (like 6 or 7 tables and a bar). If you want privacy this is not the place as I felt like I was... More

They took great care of us. We had fun cooking our food at the table in our hot pot of 2 broths. $100 with plenty of food, wine, and tip for 4! We could not understand how the other tables arrived, ate and were out of there so quickly. You can eat individual pieces or keep creating your own soups... More

Been coming here since its opening in 2008. It's always fresh and great service! Must try the combos with choices of great broth. My favorite is the Tontoro pork belly, but they have a variety of seafood and vegetarian choices too. If you are a vegetarian make sure to ask for vegetarian broth.

Thank fusiondave
