We had a great dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The patio was lovely. It did get buggy, and both the hostess and owner offered to move us, but we didn't mind enough to go inside. Our kids, ages 9&11, enjoyed the cheese plate and appetizers of crab cakes and mussels. Being from MD, my daughter dubbed the crab cakes, "just... More
I almost cancelled our reservation after seeing some of the more recent reviews they have. This restaurant has an excellent wine selection and we had very good service, that earned them 2 stars. The food was a disappointment. The paella dish was mostly rice with very little seafood and not much flavor. The lobster moqueca had about 3 bites of... More
This neighbourhood restaurant on Main Street gets booked up, so do reserve a table. Service was friendly and efficient, and the food is superb (loved the lobster mocquera - though my spelling is probably wrong).
I was lucky enough to eat here twice on my last visit to Acadia. The first time I dined with my parents, and was seated at a wonderful table with a view of the wine "closet". Our waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. All of our dishes were fantastic, as was the wine. We shared the mussels as an appetizer and... More
If that sounds strange, this is very authentic, with delicious entrees including paella and other entrees with authentic coconut sauces. All the fish is fresh, meat dishes looked wonderful, desserts are delicious. All the ice cream is made in house. Good cappuccinos, good wine list and overall a very enjoyable dinner.
We enjoyed the meal at Havana. My daughter had the filet which was great. I ordered the lobster dish with rice - it was pretty good. The crab cakes were dry and had popcorn on the plate as a decorative garnish - thought that was an interesting touch. Tres Leches and a piece of Flourless Chocolate Cake were a scrumptious... More
Booked this restaurant a month in advance for a Saturday night for my wife's birthday. As requested they had set aside the best table (by the window) for us and there was a happy birthday card on the table from the restaurant. Well done. Service was good throughout the evening, with the exception of few minutes where our waitress was... More
I was really excited to eat here based on past reviews, but was disappointed by the bland food, harried service, and crowded nosy ambience. Maybe we just had a bad experience, but this is the one dinner I had in Maine that did not impress.
