We stopped in here to wet our whistle and get out of the heat. Our server was terrific - friendly, congenial and accommodating. The place is decorated with all sorts of memorabilia and is really neat inside - even a couple of old juke boxes! We originally ordered some ice teas, then felt a little guilty for taking up the... The best meal my wife and I have had on our three week trip to Maine and we've had some great meals. First of all the restaurant is literally loaded with 50s and 60s memorabilia, then the menu is extensive. After talking with our server, Brynn Knudsen, we both chose seafood pie, shrimp, lobster and sea scallops in an a... More

The food was good, lots of choices for everybody. So much to see and talk about inside the restaurant. A pleasant find in town.

Fun building with lots of stuff to look at. Huge menu to choose from. Food is quick to come out, portions are huge, and staff seems to love being there.

We had gone to Route 66 two times during our week in Bar Harbor. There were just too many good choices we had to go back. The fish and chips was very good!

Cool place with tons of Americana including toys and Route 66 memorabilia. Comfortable American restaurant fare. Good for families for lunch and dinner. Tasty and inexpensive.

Awesome place to eat, atmosphere was great, staff was awesome. Food was so good we ate there twice in one day. We had six different meals between the three of us and everyone of them were awesome. Great idea with the antiques, the music, just the entire place was awesome.

This used to be a "must go" when in Bar Harbor. Seems that they are not wanting to keep up with the others. While the menu offers a good selection, salad was very out of the bag and wilted. The haddock was o.k but better can be had in town, baked was dirty. Blueberry sangria was overpriced and watered down.... More

After walking around for a couple of hours in the hot sun we were looking for a simple lunch and a break from the heat. The fun décor and the air conditional pushed up to the max was just what we were looking for. Friendly service and good food. Our daughters enjoyed there burgers and my wife enjoyed her lobster...
