Mike & Frank, (The American Pickers) would really love this place. As we did. The walls are covered with an eclectic collection of mostly 50's era items. The decor keeps you you occupied while waiting for your order which is not a long time anyway. Oh, you want to hear about the food. It was great, We had: clam chowder,... More

My husband and I were very impressed with the food, him especially, but the staff was very friendly and informative. Would give more stars if I could. Make this a place a must on trip!! Will be back again.

Food was good except fries came cold. We think we might have overwhelmed them with a party of 10 @ 3pm (midway between lunch and dinner). The atmosphere was cool. Surrounded with 50s stuff. I recommend giving this place a try. I could see there was potential here. If fries were hot, they'd get a 4 out of 5

Food was just ok. Waitress was average. I had fried haddock, my husband had chowder. It is more of a novelty😏 Can't imagine going again.

Good theme restaurant for a family with kids. Food was just ok. Decor was fun to look at. Play a game of what is your favorite item on that wall to see if you would guess the same. Enjoy!

The Route 66 Diner in Bar Harbor, ME was the perfect place for our family to stop for lunch. The food was delicious and the price was right. It was fun to look around at all the nostalgic 50's style signs and memorabilia. We will be back!

To be fair it's not fine dining at its best so it's not going to get 5 stars, but it is a family friendly place that has lots of great "flair", or as they say antiques, it looks almost like an old church converted to a restaurant. I had a burger which was good . Our waiter was very friendly... More

Thank you for your review. Our Lobster's are a typical size of 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 lb, to be fair you cannot catch or purchase a lobster smaller than that size. We have tried to change our closing time several times through Trip Advisor as we typically close at 10pm not 8pm. If you are looking for more accurate... More

Another family regular stop off on our Maine trip. This diner style restaurant takes you back own time with it's 60's -80's decor. My little guys love it. Perfect for families especially with young ones who want their regular favorites for a meal. Friendly staff and great service.
