We stopped in for two lobster rolls, we got a “Classic” & “Connecticut”, no drinks. The staff was super friendly ... both rolls were served with a small but tasty 1/4 cup of coleslaw, a couple lemon wedges (the lobster roll was delish with a squeeze of fresh lemon) and small bag of potato chips. 4 Stars because of the small coleslaw, the chips were “Baked” and total was over $65. I’m questioning the value tho we enjoyed it.

When scouring for the best lobster roll on MDI, my husband and I stumbled upon Stadium. While the set up is a bit odd (gift shop in front, order food on back, eat on second floor) everything was well maintained, and the menu was enticing. The most interesting part of this restaurant though, and I think it's so clever, is the customization of the lobster roll. Everyone has had warm and cold, mayo or butter. But THIS was adding flavors like sriracha, remoulade, and basil. What. A. Concept. You could eat there every day for a week and have a seemingly different meal each time! And man, the remoulade was good. Slight bit of spice, slight bit of crunch, and a while lot of yummy. I also had the blueberry turnover which tasted as homemade as anything I've ever had in bar harbor. And you can really tell when it's from a corn syrup dropped can. Downside? Portion to price ratio was a bit high, but I did get a bag of chips at least with it. Upstairs atmosphere was also very..wood cabin, but I gotta imagine it's a great spot to watch a game. Overall, I love the variety they're bringing to the game, I just wish enhanced portion sizes were as well.

The people were so nice in this restaurant and went out of their way to accommodate us. We wanted a lobster roll to take with us for dinner. The chef actually came out and told us how he would pack everything separately for us so that it wouldn’t get soggy by dinnertime, and that is exactly what he did. It was not inexpensive ($25.00), and not huge, but it was pretty much the going rate for lobster rolls and it was really very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, if for no other reason the people were just so kind and accommodating.

The best part of this restaurant was it was very COVID conscious and our server was excellent. The menu was quite limited, and they brought you the food upstairs. The seating was restricted so there was a good amount of social distancing. Felt comfortable eating there. Unfortunately, was not overly thrilled with the food. It was very expensive. Had the cadillac roll, which did have a lot more meat on it than the regular roll. But it was $44.00. This is double the price of lobster rolls elsewhere, and you do not seem to get double the amount of meat. Also, it came on a long brioche type of bun that was very large. It was a good roll, but it certainly wasn't the best I had in Maine. The clam chowder was good.

We were in awe of the artwork as we entered the restaurant. From the pictures of stadiums around the country to photos of Maine, the artwork was just stunning. I felt like I could visit this place like an art gallery. The ordering process was fairly straightforward. You can sit down and order with waitstaff or take food and sit in a fast-food style setting. I ordered the lobster roll, which was really a sandwich not my favorite. My husband who had a hankering for a hotdog, got the boiled stadium hot dogs. It was missing the famous JJ Nissen buns and some grilled flavor. Service was slow, fairly inattentive.

This was our first time returning to Bar Harbor more than 5yrs ago, and this time with kids and my inlaws. When walked by the restaurant, the server was kind enough to offer my kids a close up view of a lobster. Their kindness convinced us to try the food for lunch and it was spectacular! Large lobster, friendly staff, and absolutely friendliest staff around! The visit next day was just as delicious! Definately a must-go for us upon next return!

The Stadium in Bar Harbor is a must visit for anyone visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Located right on Main Street in the heart of downtown Bar Harbor - its so convenient. My wife and I started with the Cadillac Lobster Roll which is 8 ounces of juicy fresh lobster meat on a toasted large braided homemade roll. It is served warm or cold, with butter and mayo (which can be ordered on the side) with cole slaw and chips. We were quite full after eating the cadillac lobster roll, but decided to share a piece of the fabulous fresh blueberry pie. The crust was amazing with sprinkles of sugar baked into the crust. This place is a must for any lobster lover !! Thank you to the friendly staff for making us feel at home.

EXCELLENT!!!! The front entry to this place looked like another souvenir store. We saw the sign which stated they had lobster rolls. So glad we went in. My husband had the extra loaded lobster roll. Had melted butter and mayo on it. Best lobster roll we have had in Maine. I had the lobster bisque with extra lobster in it. OMG! The best lobster bisque I have ever had. It was served with hot home made cornbread and they placed a wrapped butter pat on top then a lid. The butter was nicely softened for the cornbread. Wish we had found this place earlier in our vacation. Also wish they served full lobster dinners but due to COVID they have put it on hold. Also serves beer.

We had the hot lobster roll for dinner along with a couple of blueberry ales (with blueberries dropped in!). We are still in the middle of COVID and all staff was very conscientious of their interactions. Now to the food. We had the Cadillac roll which came with 8 ounces of lobster meat. It was big enough that we split it between the two of us. The hot lobster roll was arguably the best we ever had. The bread was fresh, warm and nicely toasted. There was a nice layer of butter on the lobster. The food was delivered quickly as we had our lobster all within five minutes of ordering it. We had a nice conversation with Rich the owner. If you’re looking for a really good hot lobster roll you’ll find it here.

Get the Cadillac Roll (8oz of lobster) on the fresh garlic bread, served hot with butter. Unreal! The appearance of the place is deceiving! It's nice and all, but it looks like a little counter to order in the back of a Bar Harbor souvenir shop. Once you order, they have seating upstairs.

They are known for their Lobster Roll on a homemade bun. They were very good. It seemed like I had mostly lobster tail meat in my sandwich. It was all delicious. I tried the clam chowder and the lobster Mac and cheese also. Everything was delicious. I tried the vodka lemonade but I found it to be a bit too sweet. Extremely accommodating owner and knowledgeable about lobster fishing. The shop downstairs was deceiving and made it feel like a tourist trap. It was worth it.

Wow. This place was the best experience. Lobster rolls and the BLT with lobster best we ever had. The clam chowder was hot and delish on a cold rainy night. The staff were friendly and helpful in answering all our questions and we definitely felt safe with the level of cleanliness and attention to detail. After we filled our bellies we left with some wonderful items from the bakery case for the morning hike. The Apple and blueberry turnovers were great and the cookies devoured by my husband. The best were the hot blueberry muffins from the oven. Loaded with blueberries and large enough to share although we got our own. Even picked up a few items from the retail shop to take home. We cannot wait to come back next year. Stadium never disappoints!

breakfast sandwiches were hearty and delicious. Blueberry muffins so good. High quality rich, dark coffee. Two of our family members eat gluten-free and were able to get breakfast sandwiches and pastries too. Line moved pretty fast for Bar Harbor standards. Staff very friendly. A little pricey but not a bad deal compared with the other BH choices. Entire family enjoyed and said it was their top 1-2 favorite eating places during our trip.

My lobster roll was as described. I deducted a star for customer service. Upon checkout I was informed that there is no upstairs seating and that most people just take their food and eat in the nearby park. That was fine except they did not mention that my bottled beverage would require a bottle opener ( I am used to twist offs, even with beer). As most people don't carry bottle openers around, this would be a pretty important disclosure! I was very annoyed, and expected better given the high ratings given to this place.
