My wife and I had the opportunity to try the stadium while on a family vacation. We tried several of the items including the banana Nutella crêpes, popovers and breakfast sandwiches. They were all outstanding. A special mention Moscow out to the blueberry donuts. They...were the best we’ve ever had. So good that we bought some to take home with us. If you were in Bar Harbor, The Stadium is one of the places you absolutely have to stop at!!More

The 3 star rating is an average between a 5-star visit and a 0-star visit. We stumbled upon the Stadium during our trip to Bar Harbor in 2019, when we had the best clam chowder we've even had at an upstairs table. The chowder was...so exceptional that we visited many times during our stay at the Bar Harbor Inn, and for almost 3 years afterward used that chowder as the gold standard against which all others were compared. During our recent 2022 stay in Camden, we drove 90 minutes up to Bar Harbor for chowder at the Stadium. To our dismay even though chowder remained on the Stadium's internet menu, it had been discontinued during the "hot" summer months. No wonder the summer discontinuation, because tables for eating in house are no longer provided. We bypassed whatever constitutes a "popover" as a consolation prize and ate elsewhere.More

What an unfortunate review after speaking with you in person about how COVID has impacted our small, family-owned business. We went from over 80 seats down to 10 during the pandemic and had to make changes to keep our business afloat. Some of these changes...More

If you want fantastic popovers WITHOUT the wait , come here! We stopped for a lunch post biking and shared a southwest wrap and two popovers and coffee! Lunch DAY 2 post ride was a repeat meal with addition of a blueberry scone and peanut...butter cookie. Delicious. Also my beeper failed to alert us and staff came out to find me on the street and deliver food. Great service. Not hard to imagine we purchased two southwest wraps for on the road lunch home for next day. A must stop for great food!!!! But they close early- no evening hours!!! Highly recommend!!!More

All we had were the Blueberry scones and Popovers, but they were excellent! Even better if you're lucky enough to get one warm!! I especially loved the scones because they are NOT too sweet! If you like them really sweet, they are probably not for...you. They are absolutely PACKED with fresh blueberries, though!More

The service and accommodating nature of the staff was amazing. I needed some changes made to my breakfast sandwich due to an allergy and they were happy to help. The breakfast sandwiches, avo toast and crepes were all cooked to perfection & the coffee and...tea (Coffee Hound) we awesome as well (shared space). We ended up going two mornings in a row.More

Breakfast sandwiches are massive, but the coffee was the highlight for us. Stopped 3 times on a 6 day trip for coffee and it was always on point.

My husband wanted to get popovers at the Pond House during our visit this past weekend, but they’re booked solid until July…how things have changed for the worse in the last 20 years…and for the better with the arrival of the Stadium! Service was fast...and friendly. There is plenty of space to wait the few minutes it takes to assemble your order. Behind the counter, we could see popovers being pulled from the oven and more batter being poured into pans for the next batch. We each got a fairly large popover, each coming with a side of maple butter and blueberry jam. The butter wasn’t overwhelmingly maple-y, and the jam was fantastic. The popovers themselves were delicious, even though they didn’t “pop” as much as others I’ve had or made. We bought them to a bench in Agamont park and ate them in the late morning sunshine. 10/10 would do again. We also each ordered a decadent iced coffee beverage— a “turtle” flavored one (may have been called the Acadia?) and a caramel? flavored one that was called the Fenway. Both were far sweeter and more indulgent than I usually take my coffee, and I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a treat! I’ll definitely be back, probably trying a different drink because so many of them sounded great! I wish I had tried this spot sooner, it scratches the itch for popovers, and covers the bases with nearly every type of coffee drink.More

I am a bit of a foodie, so couldn't pass up a chance for Fresh - Hot from the oven - Popovers. Outstanding! The maple butter and blueberry preserves were a crowning touch, plus the coffee is also terrific! Everything looked decadently delicious. Very busy...place, efficiently run by super friendly staff. My patience paid off big time. Hope they will be able to add more "open hours" soon.More

This was a little takeout place with good chowder and crepes, with reasonable prices given its location. The service was friendly. We would return.

My brother and sister in law went on a food tasting tour. They were told that the popovers here are better than the ones at the "Pond." Went there one day and were told they would be ready at 10. Weren't ready but would be...at 10 the next day. Got there at about 10 after and got one. Definitely better than the other place. Also much cheaper. Blueberry jam or whatever it's called they give you is addicting. Will be back!More

Absolutely fantastic lobster and other food (get the popovers if the timing is right! I think it was 2PM each day). The prices were shockingly fair for lobster in Bar Harbor, the staff members were friendly, and overall everything was just fantastic. I went at...least three times on my four day vacation.More

This is a walk-up counter type place. I don't know, but I doubt they take reservations. I think there might be a seating area upstairs. There is a park nearby where you could sit too.
