We have asked around in the area while visiting Acadia National Park about a good restaurant. Had a couple people recommend this with hesitation that it was Under New Management and service might be a little slow. They were right. The food was great, so...More

The food was very good, service was excellent. Our server was friendly and joked with us. Food came out promptly. Everything you expect in a good restaurant!

We had 2o people and the server did a great job. Most of the food was hot. Some was just warm. The Haddock Reuben was good. The kids mac-n-cheese was good and cheesy. The BBQ Bacon Cheddar Burger came without the BBQ sauce and it...More

Not fresh seafood as we expected. Server was pleasant but food was pricey for the quality. Of a 65.00 tab for a seafood platter and a steak, the most edible part of the meal was the baked potatoes.

We drove just a couple of minutes for breakfast. It was spacious and clean. Our server was very nice and we each got an omelet. Home fries had to be ordered separate and no homemade bread. It was an ok breakfast but nothing to write...More

The food was good but we waited about ten minutes to get seated because the hostess did not seem to know where she wanted to seat our party of six. The waitress was nice but getting the food and the check took a long time....More

The service was better than the food. Our waitress was a total sweetheart and we were served super quick. The food was diner food at best unfortunately not impressed and did not go back for seconds.

I enjoyed by breakfast of a ham and cheese omelet; it was tasty and more than enough for one person. The blueberry muffin was homemade, warm and delicious! The waiter was nice and friendly. The inside was dark and stuffy though, and I was glad...More

How large of a group can you seat??? And how munch notice do you need in advance?? The Maniac Mustangs of Maine are planning a trip to Bar Habor in Sept and would like to stop in and have lunch. I have eaten there in the past serval times and loved it. Now I would to bring the club over. Thanks Leo

Description
TEMPORARILY CLOSED - The Log Cabin Restaurant is a wonderful family owned Seafood & Steak restaurant that has been in continuous operation since 1984. The original owners who built the restaurant are now back and running the family operation. Great for families and large groups. Our dining rooms offer a very comfortable Maine experience with a classic Maine décor. We also have an absolutely wonderful Country Store filled with products made in Maine and New England. We hope you come to visit and dine with us. Greetings from the entire Hansen Family!
